Been here a few times because it's close to campus and there are frequent deals (i.e. 25% off, BOGO) However, the boba is pretty average - below average. No complaints about the service but the boba here isn't the best. I've tried their brown sugar boba, snow cream drinks, thai tea, and fruit teas and none of them have stood out to me.

They made me my own specialty drink and even let me taste it before making the whole order! Very kind of the staff.

This chain offers solid boba and a wide variety of flavors at a good price. Sometimes the sweetness is a bit sweeter than I would expect when ordering a fruit tea at light sweetness but other than that, the drink is good.

I ordered their DIY boba kits online to make at home. Very impressed. It came with everything you need to make black boba milk tea, jasmine milk tea, Okinawa milk tea, caramel brûlée milk tea, passion fruit tea, mango tea. Super impressed. Tastes just like the shop. Thanks for offering during shelter-in-place!

Raretea Berkeley.. actually raretea and sharetea it's almost the same. They have same teas flavors. The place is just a small shop so when it gets busy the line will be outside the shop. Pretty much everything is all good.

Do not order from the self service kiosk as they apparently won't give you a "stamp" for the buy 10 get 1 free promotion. Their policy is inconsistent since last time they gave me a stamp but this time they said they don't. Why would they even put up a kiosk if they won't honor my purchase with a stamp?

They serve very quickly & the flavors are solid. The quality of the cups are great. The plastic is a harder and more sturdy type of material so you don't have to worry about spilling your boba anymore!! It feels smooth but with some texture. I tried the Jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly, and less sweeetness and it tasted great My only complaint is that the place isn't as great for hanging out

If you want fast boba that does the job, go to RareTea! RareTea is one of those boba places that has the usual boba options that always fill you up. I love getting different drinks here, but I usually get some of the mango passion fruit green tea (50% sugar) or just oreo milk tea. The boba here is usually pretty standard, and I would love to come here whenever there's a coupon or deal on their drinks (which is pretty often). RareTea is one of those quintessential boba places that is near UC Berkeley, so a lot of students like coming here for a quick drink or to study and drink or simultaneously.

Taro smoothie is too damn good.

It can get extremely hot in here! But the tapioca is generally a great consistency - chewy, fresh not overdone - and the variety of drinks is pleasing. I like their taro milk tea very much, and their Strawberry Berry 2.0 on the 25% sweetness "setting" is just right. They've got a few snacks that are pretty exciting, and top of the crowd is the fried Oreos. Fried Oreos plus Okinawa black boba tea with low ice equals heaven to me.
