I have been here 1827383993x but then I never left a review this place is one of my favorite! very convenient when you are on the go. Pricey for a decent size for onigiri however it is full of toppings. I can't complain. It is always made fresh so that is a bug thumbs up for me.You are able to order by the kiosk and not allowed inside. What sucks is it gets really cold Berkeley. Pandemic is over so I am sure you guys can let people in so they can sit while waiting for the order.

Chicken katsu don had a bone in the chicken and had barely any meat inside the pieces of chicken.

The Pork-Boy Onigiri definitely hit while mid-robotics competition. The succulent pork with salty spam, infused with sweet sauce, and lightened by the refreshing lettuce, all sandwiched between fragrant rice was a great choice.

This is now my go to snack before heading into the stadium for football game days. I love that you can order ahead and the food itself is a pretty goo value for the size. I tried the classic okinawa onigiri, double shrimp and soft shell crab onigiri. None of the ingredients are actually marinated or heavily seasoned so if you like your food flavored "as is" then this is perfect. If you like things saltier or more flavorful then this might feel a bit lacking to you. That said, I still think it's a great to go item to take into the stadium on football game days. One is plenty filling for me but I think 2 would be good for someone who is really hungry. Onigiri aside the gyudon is also quite flavorful. Again, this is my go-to for game days so I'll see you there!

Not so much like onigiri as like a nori cheeseburger with mayo and fried tofu that disintegrates within 1hr of purchase and takes 15mins to make.

We were on the way to spend the day riding trains and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Berkley is our go to spot to get our grub on as there's a bunch of food places to choose from especially during the late nights. Anyhow, we decided to try this place and came in to put in our order on their self-service ordering kiosk. Ordered Gyudon, Chicken and Pork Katsudon, Pork Boy Onigiri. Gyudon- thin slices of beef simmered in their savory sauce with corn toppings on a rice bowl. Though I like the food even though the sauce is a bit mild, the quantity of beef to rice ratio were askew. It has more rice compared to the meat it goes with itChicken and Pork Katsudon- the breading made these on a dry side. These dishes came with seaweed salad and corn topped with sauce. Nothing really to rave about these because I can get a much bigger portion for the same price with a better tasting food. Pork Boy Onigiri- this one was the fave as the flavor was there, the meat was juicy, the egg was soft and the cheese was cheesing and the rice were fluffy. My little one liked it and he said this is what he'll get everytime we are in the area. Anyway, if you have a hankering for soda to go with your order, fear not it'll only cost you $2.50/can. I get it, it's quick food and inflation sucks (prices) but it's not really budget friendly in this college area if you tend to crave rice bowls or onigiri on a daily. I like the food but I could not justify the price for this with the quantity I get especially with their rice bowls.

Quality, fast, cheap(ish), reliable, and easily accessible via the 51B and 79 bus lines are all descriptors I'd use to describe Riceful! It opened up right when I started at UC Berkeley and it's remained quite popular since! That's for good reason -- they offer great Snackpass/general deals like an onigiri and an iced tea! I love the Go Cal onigiri since I'm a big fan of imitation crab... I'd also recommend the soft shell crab onigiri since it's delicious and succulent! Riceful is awesome and the service is always fast and friendly. Try it out :)

The food was amazing! They're filling and provided sooo much flavor. I can't wait to eat this in the near future. Chicken Katsu had a lot of flavor, Soft-shell Crab Onigiri was fresh and one of my favorites! There was one with a pineapple sausage (sorry I forgot the name of it) but that was delicious!!

Onigiris are inexpensive and available in convenience markets everywhere in Japan, so it is hard to get used to paying for onigiris here that cost as much as a full meal! In fact, one is not enough for a typical person, so you need to order two which make for an expensive meal! Nevertheless, I enjoyed the softshell crab and ika geso onigiris that I ordered via Doordash. The rice were soft and the other ingredients tasted fresh and good. I liked that they use seaweed salad in the onigiris. The pork katsudon was a little disappointing, however. The pork cutlet was on the tough side, and given the price, the amount of meat you get doesn't justify the price.

Riceful | Berkeley 1. Unagi Onigiri2. Chicken Katsu OnigiriCraving onigiri but wanna try it Okinawa-style? This over-the-counter spot serves classic & seasonal onigiri through a self-ordering kiosk--offering at least 20 different Japanese rice sandwiches such as unagi, soft-shell crab, pork, aji-fish, and chicken Katsu. Each individual onigiri is prepared fast but made with fresh ingredients. Compared to traditional onigiri, these are a lot bigger and much more filling I would say. If you want a quick & easy snack, then Riceful is definitely your place!

It’s enjoyable. However, 1 doesn’t make you full and it’s a bit overpriced.

Parking is located across the street, free for 60-90 minutes. They do not do phone order but we can order via the Yelp app. Ebi Katsu Onigiri: 5/5, unique and had a distinguished taste to it.Classic Okinawa: 4/5, eggs were cooler than what one would like it. Service was quick and easy.
