The best pretzel place in Northern California! They are a small family business that started at a farmers market; so delicious that now they can have a place they call home. My favorite is the pretzel bratwurst (5/5)! Perfect firmness on the outside of the pretzel and softer inside wrapped around a perfect bratwurst. It’s not even soggy either. Top it off with a little sprinkle of salt on top! It’s even good the next day, with reheat in the microwave or in the air fryer!Pretzel bratwurst- 5/5Fungi cheese -4/5Asiago -4/5Jalapeño cheese - 4.5/5Classic -4/5Found out recently that they have a small freezer section near the cashier, where you can purchase frozen pretzel and reheat at home! A little bit more economical and still delicious!Clearly, I’m a salty pretzel gal than a sweet pretzel girl.

My wife and I went here for the first time before a Cal Football game back in November 2023 as we both really enjoy a German soft pretzel. I should note - we go to Munich two or three times a year so we think we have a good baseline of a good pretzel. This is the only place we have found in the US to have authentic German pretzels! In addition, they have our favorite pretzel cut hamburger style with a nice butter spread in between. Coupled with a light coating of salt and the soft bread of the pretzel - it's really amazing. They also have a variety of other pretzels with toppings. The owners have always been extremely friendly and genuine people every time we go - definitely a staple in Berkeley and East Bay. They also offer pretzel baking classes; we just did the class and had an amazing time. Definitely recommend for couples or families.Every time we're in the area we'll come back - highly recommend.

So so so good! Their weekly special pretzel varieties are always quite the treat. The rosemary ham and Parmesan pretzel I had today was to die for.

This shop has pretzel products that taste like the ones in Germany , I get the frozen ones in a bag to heat up at home but the ones on display are wonderful too, such varieties, it's worth the trip to Berkeley for

Honestly, we came for the pretzel art and because of the name of the place, which reminded us of "ya bish." Lol, but to top it off, we noticed how appetizing the pics of the unique pretzels were and how affordable they were (around $5ish for the regular sized ones). After having a difficult time choosing, we settled with the Reuben. The flavorful pastrami, cheese, and caraway seed combo made this pretzel so savory and delicious. The pretzel bread itself wasn't that fresh though (but makes sense they don't bake it right away/heat it up on the spot). Service was fine. There isn't very much indoor seating, but they do have a few seats outside.

Great pretzels of all types and flavors. Friendly owner. Don't forget to ask them to heat the pretzel up for you.

Love this place! I have tried several of their savory pretzels since moving in down the street. The pretzels have enough bite to them without being hard, great chew, and just the right amount of salt. My all time favorite is the anchovy and caper pretzel. I will be stocking up the next time this one is on the menu. Had the Stilton cheese pretzel over the weekend which knocked my socks off, so good! Highly recommend giving them a try, you'll be back for more.

This local spot warms my heart and belly. Deliciousness in every bite and pretzel. Can't go wrong with your selection just follow your gut. I love the ones with cheese. Even being in the shop is fun. They have lovingly decorated the spot I mean it's so cute. You must take their class; we had a great time because in addition to being great bakers they're wonderful instructors and now we know how to make yummy pretzels at home. Support this sweet shop!

A wonderful selection of fresh, artisanal pretzels. Service was convivial and delightful. I sat outside and ate my pretzel in the parklet. There are vegetarian options, but not vegan when I visited.

I think they have the best (i.e. most original) pretzels in the greater Bay Area. My favorites are of course the classic pretzel and the ham & cheese pretzel, which is the perfect lunch snack for a hike.

Simply amazing! These are the best Pretzels I've ever had. Why bother with the fast food Pretzels you get other places when you can have perfection?
