Despite being alone and always understaffed there, Kate was amazingly fast, very patient, well-organized, and always delivered every order correctly. The line was most of the time long and customers kept coming, Kate was obviously tired, but she was still very courteous and nice and did not sigh at all. I would be more than happy to have an employee like her. Someone with good qualities and excellent characters like this should be a manager. Starbucks and Target should reward her.

I ordered one drink, waited while the gals were having a kiki (which is nbd, ya gotta have fun at work) they made drinks for two people after me (who didn't order online), and one didn't even know how to make my drink. Once it came out and I left I realized it was made wrong. What did I expect? It's Starbucks in a Target. Big eyeroll.

If you're looking for a public restroom in Berkeley where there's somewhere to park, then you can typically find a parking space in this target parking lot. The Starbucks is inside of the target and there are two large clean restrooms

The lady inside does not give you that Starbucks feel in the morning she should be working at a gas Station! leave Starbucks to the Super Polite
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, this was often my go-to Starbucks location for relaxing and to get a snack and drink.

First and foremost this Starbucks is in a Target inhabited by a melting pot of College Kids. I normally wouldn't critique an individual like this but this Starbucks visit was unique our of a 100 or so run of the mill visits. I decided to get coffee on my way out of Target after being badgered by an unnecessary amount of security staff that put me not in the fairest of moods. I see the back of a young lady behind the counter by herself, washing dishes with her ponytail exiting out of her adjustable Starbucks cap. She turned around and immediately smiled and asked me what I wanted. Now without going into too much detail, the employee KARIMA? or KARINA (sorry) delivered over the top, excellent, text book customer service with ease. As she made my drink I drilled her with conversation about my poor Target experience. In her responses back she showed Empathy, she Clarified what I was talking about, She then Isolated that experience apart from any others then responded with enough valid and cheerful solutions to having me walking out feeling good about myself and my experience there. She single handedly swayed my review of this Target and Starbucks into a near perfect experience. Cause let's face it, nobodies perfect. In my 20 years of retail management training up to an executive level, haven't heard a untrained customer service representative drive in a text book experience. She should be running that place.
