Very unhelpful staff for very subpar food, made more egregious by the fact that it's literally surrounded by better, more reasonably priced offerings. Ordering online is pointless as well with how limited it is.

No way I'm coming back here.. Manager of the day is not so hospitable,he just want to rush me to get my order. I understand if it's busy but it's 1:30 ish and only 3 customers including myself is here. I prefer to go some place else to eat.

Standard subway, stingy on the meat I would say. They put more veggies than meat. Sandwhich zone is nearby and way better than this. Cheaper too.

This subway gets the job done; the prices are average and the sandwiches were generally well-made and pretty good. The biggest issue I had with this Subway was the cleanliness. The shop itself is somewhat dirty and dingy, which is concerning when you consider that your food may be exposed to these elements. If you're a college student who needs a quick meal, this Subway will serve you well enough. If you have a little extra money in your pocket, or are turned off my the interior, I'd steer clear and look elsewhere in Downtown Berkeley.

Just had to write a review becase the guy who helped me here yesterday at around 10 am was so friendly and efficient i was amazed. At a time when customer service is going out the window i take time out of my day to write a review when an associate goes above and beyond to provide customer service.
