The alma mater of my favorite bakery in SF Arizmendi Bakery. The pizza is fresh and tasty. The pastries here are also a steal. Everything is good. X-Bread is a signature bread that I've never seen elsewhere so you should try one. Another cool thing about this shop is that there is a live band! Come enjoy all the senses.

Pizza is worth the wait in line. While the line appeared to be soooo long, given they serve one type of pizza made for it to move very quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza of the day and the green sauce is a must with any pizza. Having live music on site made for a fun atmosphere that helped make the food taste even better. Will become a go to spot when in Berkeley. Can’t wait to see what other creations come up next timeKid-friendliness: Sitting areas and plenty of spots for kids to post up and enjoy pizza

Get here early. A line has almost always formed and for good reason. They almost always have a nice band playing as well which is extremely pleasant. There is oftentimes a random uh, guy but it is what it is(iykyk). Lovely little parklet as well when the weather is clear. The pizza’s toppings also always changes so don’t expect to be getting the same thing twice but they have yet to disappoint the few times I’ve treated myself to a pie. Strictly vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian friendly. Gluten free unknown. Vegan probably not??

Pizza so good you want to come back everyday. The green sauce is delicious. The live music adds to the ambiance.I've only had 1 pizza that I didn't like, some kind of fruit on the pizza that day.
Heading out to my cabin we stop first thing in the morning to grab a pre baked thin crust pizza. They sell out fast. Eating a cheese board pizza is a religious experience. Their combinations are novel with top notch ingredients and every 'za is to die for. Workers love their jobs and it shows.

We came here to split a pizza as an afternoon snack, and we got one with cremini mushrooms, red onion, mozzarella, arugula, and lemon dressing. We also got the green sauce, which was excellent and added some extra spice. This place serves the best vegetarian pizza in the area, and the toppings change every day. Would definitely love to come back and try their other pizzas!

I usually don’t crave pizza, but their potato pizza is to die for. I check their website frequently and travel the extra mile to Berkeley just to get it.Long line ups for a good reason. You can get your pizza half baked at their bakery for a quicker wait. I prefer their fully baked pizza because their oven gives the cheese a nice bubble!My only complaint is their operating hours is a bit difficult to work around.

I absolutely love the bakery and often stop by to listen to the bands play at the pizzeria but until today had yet to try the pizza. Whenever I get pizza I go for meat lovers so I was slightly hesitant to go for a meatless pizza. Boy was I shortsighted , the pizza is absolutely incredible! Delicious, filling, just perfect! Can’t wait to come back and try the green sauce and more of the unique recipes from the cheeseboard.Update: I came back literally the next day for lunch. Another delicious pizza and this time I got the green sauce which is SO GOOD. The pizza alone is great but the green sauce gives such a nice complimentary flavor and kick. I also recommend going next door to the cheeseboard and grabbing an iced hibiscus to pair with your meal. Amazing! Oh and they ALWAYS give you extra slices. Today I ordered two and got four :)
