Camino was one of my favorite Oakland restaurants, and I was so sad when they closed down. But enter the Kebabery, the brainchild of Camino's founders, still creating some of the best food around! Order your dinner NOW! You'll thank me :) Such yummy food. I always end up with a big smile on my face. I love their lamb kebab plate with the cauliflower (tasty!) and daikon (it's a bit bitter but in a good way) sides. The lamb kebab is perfectly seasoned, with even more flavor coming from the yogurt sauce and touch of hot pepper sauce. So many flavors that blend really well together. Stumbled across them during a jog, and came back a couple of hours later to actually get some food. There are not enough good kebap places in the Bay Area, and this one is an amazing example for how the food should taste, and why I miss not having more of them! Nicely seasoned & baked flatbreads with character, delicious marinated meat & excellent pickles, what's not to like? Will be returning again and again!
