Nadia, one of the baristas was excellent and empathetic when it came to addressing the non-operative WiFi. She said that a sign will be up to clearly communicate that it's not available or it's not working. I'm writing this to let other students know about the WiFi issue.

I was looking for dessert and saw the string quartet in the window. Decided to get a decaf latte and piece of blueberry pound cake. Enjoyed one beautiful song by string quartet. It was their last song of the day:( Their music made it magical. No music, much more ordinary.

Today I got the avocado toast. It was delicious, made with hummus, a fried egg, and avocado. I was with a group of 4 friends, some ordering either sandwiches or coffee. After we finished eating we were sitting and doing some school work. An employee came up and asked us to leave the table to make room for people eating food. He told us we could move to smaller tables, but the big table needed to be made available. Considering that we were a large group and there were only small tables of 2 available, this didn't make sense. This seemed unprofessional to me since we had also ordered food and there was no time limit advertised for tables. We had been there for about an hour and a half. I frequent this cute place, but after being made to feel unwelcome, I'll think twice about coming back.

My favorite place in Berkeley to meet friends for breakfast or lunch. The food is okay, but the ambiance is excellent. This place often gets crowded, so it's advisable to plan to go there in advance.

My favorite coffee shop in Berkeley! they occasionally have live music and the food+coffee is sooo good and affordable.

What a cute spot this is right near campus. It's a music store and cafe. We came for the fresh pastries. Had the scone with berry compote. Soooo delicious. Service was friendly. I'll be back and will stay longer!

This used to be a classical music store. Sadly, it's primarily a restaurant. Classics cd's, what's left of them, are now crowded into a smaller space forcing one to step sideways to view some of the cd's. It appears the current cd stock has not been replenhied in quite awhile.Oh and they also sell used books, a carryover from the now defunct adjacent bookstore.
