10/11/2019 Rating: it's more of a 3.5/5 After the fire, this place has finally re-opened one year later. Came during the soft opening so it's not a definitive and complete review. The menu offers a variety of unique fruit teas and boba. I got the specialty, the Secret Garden. There are little chunks of mango and strawberry in the drink. I would say that compared to the picture advertised, the drink does not look exactly the same. Visuallly, it's a bit lacking. However, the drink itself is not bad. It tastes like sweetened tea mixed with a variety of fruits, with the fruits providing texture and some pleasant sourness to counteract the sweetness. (I would note that Yi Fang has the upper hand in fruit teas.) I would come back for the milk teas and for the snacks if they add them back to the menu in the future.

Tzone of Berkeley; another boba shop that is super close to campus, and there to serve the boba cravings of the student population. So far I've been here a couple of times; the first time, I got their Blueberry Taro drink (iirc), and that was REALLY good. Though the taro flavor wasn't very prominent, the blueberry flavor was on point. That said, the second time, I went there, I was a bit disappointed to not see it on the menu. As a result, I decided to try the their regular milk tea with pearl. Let's just say that their regular milk teas aren't my favorite cup of tea...It definitely tasted a bit off, and had a strange almost chocolate-y flavor to it, which was definitely not something I was expecting. But now on to the thing I loved about this place, is their chicken wings. I got an order of their lemon pepper chicken wings and it was AMAZING. Seriously, I kid you not, that I think their lemon pepper wings taste better than that of fire wings! The lemon-y flavor stood out a lot, and wings were nicely fried and crisp. Didn't feel too oily or anything, and overall a great experience. They might be a bit on the expensive side, though, so that's definitely something to take into consideration. TL;DR try their wings!!

Been here twice, once for the secret garden tea, once for the chocolatea. Both were amongst the cheapest tasting teas I've ever tasted. I usually don't complain about drinks.

Love their matcha latte!!! Spacious store with wireless charge !!! Great for hang out with group of friends
After class I was looking for something to cure my sweet tooth. I stopped by TZone and tried out their matcha latte. OMG it was so good!! The matcha flavor was strong just how I like it. I expected it to be sweeter but it was just right. They have so many snacks too! I'll definitely be coming back soon to try them!

Idk why people dislike this place so much but their smoothies and drinks are really good but their tea kinda lacks Drinks: I've tried the avocado smoothie and PMS and they were both super good and creamy. The boba is a bit more chewy than other places but in no way stale. PMS was really good and pretty sweet (if you're not into that) but it looked nothing like the advertised picture? Overall, great drink with small fruit bites and I highly recommend their smoothies over tea. Ambience: really big boba store with wireless charging in the big table in the corner. Lots of chairs and table to study at and a great hangout place for large groups. Service: really nice and chill people, nothing that stood out but overall they were very friendly

Driving all the way from hayward to try this new place. But still they said they are close even though the time is not due yet

Seems like they use powders for their drinks as the flavor always seems alittle muted or fake. The pop-color decor and ambience does not match the variety of trap rap that serenades you as your wait for your order. It's serviceable but I'd avoid the smoothies/blended drinks.
