The durian crepe cake is a must if you like durian ??

I had the vegetarian bibimbap and my husband had the spicy pork. We shared an order of fried dumplings. Everything was fresh and tasty. The line was out the door! Ambiance was nil. I will return!

I think this place closed down. Was not open on a 7pm on a Saturday night and in front of the door was a bunch of empty boxes.

The environment is pretty good with delicious cakes. Nice music. The place is so clean with light.

I love the fresh desserts! My go to is always the Thai tea crepe cake and the mango crepe pancake never disappoints! I feel like this place is not recognized enough and I'm fine with that because every time I go there's still enough for me!

I was really excited to try this place, but it did not live up to my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly, but the coconut pudding with forbidden rice was extra sub par. The pudding had an off texture. I could taste the coconut milk, which shouldn't be apparent in coco pudding. It created a weird aftertaste, much like if it was spoiled. Also, the rice was still hard!

I really like the desserts here. They have a bunch of traditional Asian desserts like mango sago pudding and durian pancakes, but they also have trendy desserts like crepe cakes. The only bad thing about this place is the really high price. You could probably go to an Asian grocery store and buy the ingredients for the dessert at a cheaper price. I got the mango with taro balls, red beans, and boba. The taro balls were very chewy and had a light taro flavor. The red beans were a bit too soft but still had a nice flavor that rounded out the sweetness of the dish. The boba was a bit soggy because it was sitting in the liquid for a while, but it still had a juice chew. The mango base had a really delicious and refreshing mango flavor and it tasted like it was made with real mangoes.

Pros: friendly service Cons: dessert wasn't too good. Maybe it was just us. Street parking

My experience in one word: DISAPPOINTMENT! I was expecting a whole lot more... especially for the price. I ordered the durian pancake, and was expecting lots of durian. But no! For $7, all I got was a load of whipped cream and a sliver of durian stuffed inside a thick, not-so-good crepe-like outside. Since this place recently opened, maybe they still need time to improve. But, based on my first visit, I'm probably not coming back.

Ume Desserts is where a chinese snack shop was before. desserts are stored in fridge coolers to the right (as u enter). Ume mentions 200 desserts. not all were present when i visited. at most 50 kinds. just a take out spot. no dine in tables visible. no kitchen noticed. desserts made offsite? (fyi. believe present dessert shops also have eats made offsite. note abrupt unexplainable shortages). offerings: hong kong desserts: pancake/crepes, puddings, etc. eats: durian pancake/crepe(6.99) -not a crepe as seen before. more a thin layered cake with fruit between layers -durian pungent, def. for real. grass jelly with sago, fruit toppings(6.99) -more fluid than canned versions tasted decades ago. *2nd dessert 50% off. (temporary sale?) 3.5 stars for deja vu when asian desserts were canned... not fresh. take outs: -Ume Desserts may be a sign of the future to sell hong kong desserts cheaply by avoiding costly sit down costs. -*assuming same quality of eats offered at both take out and dine in spots. -definitely checking in to see what desserts offered.
