Cool theme and unique food combinations. I'd recommend the wonton bombs and Desperado burger. Love the kids "pick menu" idea - my son loved it.

The food was okay, though pricey. The water was disgusting. The servers were quite pleasant, but needed frequent prompting to get items. The tall tables are too narrow for multiple plates. The napkins are a joke--hard to get out of the dispenser, and paper thin--just put a roll of paper towels on the table, burgers and fries are eaten by hand, so good napkins are essential. Music was waaaaay too loud.

Came in here and they told me it was an 30 minute wait came back and they told us they didn’t have any table available and it was going to take another 20 minutes. We noticed that there was a group that came in after us and they where sitting before us.We waited over an hour in half and yet nothing, never call us in. We left and find something bet. I’m guessing because we were the only Hispanics there they didn’t want to see us.

Had the Cabo Wabo burger and my girlfriend had the Bat Country burger. Both were amazing. I had the Brussel sprouts. Best sprouts I've had in a while. Highly recommend this place!

I float in the air like a cartoon character smelling a pie when the savory scent of Fire Rock's food embraces my nostrils. Best burger I've ever had.. I've gone here twice now and it's heaven on earth. The servers are nice and the chefs make all the food perfectly. Dude the music is amazing and the place itself is like the perfect environment. Both times I've gotten the freak on a leash and genuinely if I were on death row and had to choose my last meal, I'd choose that. If I had to pick between narwhals going extinct or this place going out of business, let's just say that narwhal lovers won't be happy about my choice. I'd die for this place. The freak on a leash burger is like the mana from heaven from the Old Testament. The fries are seasoned just right like Goldilocks would approve and they're crisp but soft and the perfect size. The layering in the burger is perfect.. best amount of everything and the way it's stacked and the BUN!! Oh my goodness gracious great balls of fire! Literally like the best place ever. I'd eat here everyday if I could. You know what? I'd become Elon musk status rich just so I could give all my money to Fire Rock Burgers & Beer. In conclusion, I know I'd never love any burger more. - #1 fan

Small interior but they do have outdoor seating with heat lamps. We got the freak on a leash burger and the desperado burger, and they made the vegetarian modifications I asked for with no problems. Both were delicious and I recommend the mango chipotle Brussels sprouts as well!

Fire Rock Burgers & Brews was at the top of my list of places I had to check out during my stay in Big Bear Lake. This establishment is located in the Village and is within close proximity of other local bars and businesses. Luckily my boyfriend and I beat the crowds and were seated immediately upon arrival. We dined on the bar top as the regular tables were already reserved or taken. Here's my take on Fire Rock Burgers & Brews: Service: The service here was great, our bartender was extremely attentive and comped my Cali Creamin' brew as the tap had ran out and was only enough for a half glass ( as pictured). So far so good! Ambiance: This place was pretty lit. It was a full house and after my boyfriend and I were seated the crowds began pouring in. I loved the rock aesthetics and playlist! They also offer outdoor seating allowing them to serve a greater capacity of clientele. Food: So here's the thing, my Californication Burger ( which is ultimately an Avocado, Bacon & Cheese burger) was missing the bacon. I felt embarrassed to ask for my bacon as the bartender already comped my beer and I just didn't want to be that annoying guest. The staff was extremely busy as they were serving a full house which I understand, but even minuscule details such as a missing topping makes a big difference. As I bit into my burger I was honestly underwhelmed. Each bite consisted primarily of shredded lettuce and mushy avocado. The fries looked quite promising in pictures and as I'm a fan of battered fries I was looking forward to them which again, was also underwhelming. They lacked flavor for me. We also ordered boneless "wings" and received lukewarm popcorn chicken with a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I had to ask for more buffalo sauce on the side to make them somewhat appetizing for me. My boyfriend enjoyed his Garlic Parm Fries though so if you like garlic I'd recommend that. Overall my highlight of the night was their selection of brews (phantom bride IPA is a must!), I'd pass on the food here though as it's quite overpriced for what it is.

Literally so amazing. Their fries are to die for, we got the standard burger (first one on the menu, don't remember what it's called) but it was delicious. Their wings were also super yummy. Highly recommend!
