Very good Indian food in a vacation area. We were here off season, so it was not crowded. We had samosas, butter chicken, tandoori mixed grill and naan. All were delicious. The portions are generous.

I wish i coukd have tried the food. The place smelled very nice and authentic. The place was very clean and fancy. It was even fairly packed on a weeknight compared to all other places.I ended up passing through for a drink. The moscow mule was refreshing but mixed drinks arent usually my thing. Bar seating was nice. I left with 30 minutes as they close at 9.Woukd return to try the food. The owner is very polite. Nice to have met him.

Came back here exactly one year later and the food is even better than I remembered . Literally mouth watering and delicious. The naan is so fresh and warm. The masala is so well balanced and flavorful. I tried the onion bhajis this time which were great too. I wish I had this place in my neighborhood, I'd come all the time.

This is the first spot we go to whenever we head up to big bear. We over order and just eat left overs the whole trip. We have not had one bad dish from Masala yet. Highly recommend. Mouth is watering as I write this review.

This place is literally tucked away but hands down some of the best Indian food I have ever had. The blend of seasonings was perfect! Paired with a lemonade that had ginger in it, I had a filling, adventurous experience that fed me, my fiancé and son for under thirty dollars. Please go here and find out yourself. Vegan options are always such a treat.

BEST TIKKA MASALA, NO CONTEST! Not just the best Tikka Masala in Big Bear: this place has the best Tikka Masala in SoCal. I was on vacation. I went to the OTHER place. I was stuffed and underwhelmed. But, hey, it's Big Bear. Did I really expect "blow your mind" good INDIAN food? Afterward, my girl (who doesn't like Indian food, btw) drags me to Masala Craft because the scent was SO overwhelmingly amazing. I'd been searching for great Chicken Tikka Masala for the last 15yrs and she figured nothing that smelled that good could be anything less than great. AND. IT. WAS. FANTASTIC! I'm honestly upset that I was so full that all I got was the Tikka Masala. More than that, I can't believe I'll be driving 2.5hr back to Big Bear just for Tikka Masala, but nowhere else even comes close. There's 1 other place in NorCal that does it as well. Masala Craft was SO GOOD (I got it at level 3 spice), that we waited until 11AM the next day to grab another order on our way out of town. I just wish I'd been bright enough to bring home 2 or 3 orders! Next time, I'll be there for an entire meal, so expect an update to this review after I've tried their other dishes. I CAN'T WAIT! But for now: if you love Tikka Masala, go to Masala Craft.

My boyfriend and I are visiting from out of town and we were looking for something to eat. We came across this place and oh my goodness, we are so glad we did! I am pretty picky when it come to Indian food but this place was just amazing. Very authentic and delicious! The food came out quick and the service was very good always keeping the drinks topped off and constantly checking on us making sure everything was ok. I would 1000% recommend this place

This is my go to spot whenever I come to big bear. The malai kofta is amazing for vegetarian eaters and the garlic naan is to die for. Great service and even better food!

My husband grew up in Bermingham UK and is an accomplished home cook specializing in all things Curry. He loves Masala Craft. We always get a take out when we are are Big Bear. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and also the mixed tandoori plate. We always have leftovers. While we have had an item missed once or twice it was at the height of the crazy busy season and the manager graciously replaced the item the next day. Go there and you won't regret it.

Top notch Indian food! The garlic naan bread was a great starter and came with two nice dipping sauces. The Gobi Manchurian was excellent. Think of General Tso chicken but using cauliflower instead of chicken. The Butter Chicken was amazing. It's similar to the Tikka Masala but that uses white meat while this uses juicy dark meat and this is less tomatoey. We ended up scraping the last bits out of the bowl using the naan bread. The Lamb Biryani was fine. It's like a Lamb fried rice. Next time I would get the Vegetable Biryani because I'm getting meat from the other dishes. The have a great selection of wines and beer. Friendly, attentive staff.
