Today was the third time the Subway store didn't receive the order I placed and paid for online. I received an online receipt for my order saying that it was being made and would be ready at 4pm as I requested. When I called the store to verify that they had received my online order I spoke to a very rude person who said she had not received my order and couldn't make it until she received it online. She also said that sometimes the store never receives the online orders. I asked who the owner was and she said someone named ----, who also owns two other businesses here in Big Bear Lake. When I tried to ask her another question, she hung up on me. I went down to the store in person and showed her the receipt I had received which said that the store had received my order and that it would be ready at 4pm. She said she hadn't received it and her manager told her she couldn't make the order until she received it online.I left my name and phone number at one of the businesses that ---- was supposed to be at and ask that he please call me back regarding the situation at the Subway he owns. That was 2 hours ago. Needless to say the Subway in Big Bear Lake, will no longer receive any of my business.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We are in town for a bit and this has to be the worst Subway I have ever been to. Took us like 30 minutes to get our two subs. All the employees were slow, sluggish...the bathroom was a wreck. All the sauces and veggies were out and they had to go and refill when we were ordering. The bread wasn't even properly baked, it was all pale and underproofed. Fountain drinks were out of service, the onion and tomatoes tasted old...don't come here. Go elsewhere, ANYWHERE but this subway. We had to get coffee after to wash off the nasty taste left from the food.
Just stopped in to grab lunch. Subways is always a good choice. But it's the people inside who make me come back. Jessica helped me today and I haven't seen better customer service most places on this mountain. She was so nice, well spoken, and professional. I'll be back just because of her I'd give you 100 stars if I could Jessica! Love the snake ring too!
Lettuce is brown. Spinach tastes old. Sandwich was tossed together and when I picked it up it looked like someone had run it over several times. There's strange dark brown marks on the wrapper. Bread is torn. I don't know what they did with it, maybe tossed it around a few times before I showed up to pick it up.
Restaurant was so dirty I left. The owner needs train the employees better. I like Subway just not this one because it wasn't clean.
If i could give this location zero stars, i would Employees are slow and rude and squish the hell out of sandwiches. I didnt get his name but darker indian background was rude. Sandwiche was cold and not very tasty like product was old subway corporate needs to shurt this location down very let down did i mention SLOW AND NO ONE WAS IN THE LOCATION !!!
Last weekend I got a sub here, the bread was stale and hard. Like a croton.Today I figured I'd give this location another chance. I get there at 5:30 pm amd the doors are locked. The sign in the window and Google both say they are open until 6pm.I won't be giving them a 3rd chance.
The 2nd time they where closed at 4:50 pm on a weekday... What kind of business closes at a whimHours before advertisedFar as I am concerned they can go out of business if they run the place this way who knows what happens to the food behind our backs poor mgrThru with them
This place has the nastiest slowest workers. I had to tell them to wash their hands and to change out their gloves 3 times. Do not recommend. They truly need better training.
I used to work for Subway in Texas and this is probably the Worst Subway Ever. They have no training on portion sizes. Every one of our subs had 1/3 of the meat it's supposed to. The staff was not attentive nor professional. We didn't realize that the food was made so poorly until we got to our destination and since we were on vacation we were not going to drive back to the store so we filed a complaint online and after a month they still have never even responded to me so here's this bad review with a picture of one of the subs.
Ordered a foot long tuna. The gal that made my sandwich was friendly & quick. They accepted my coupon, one of the main reasons I frequent Subways, their mailer coupon deals are great! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! thank you!
Honestly the worst subway I’ve ever been to. When I first entered the subway, the workers didn’t greet me or anything and instead just stood their waiting for me to order. Then they were out of three different types of breads, they didn’t have cookies, didn’t have a working soda machine, and were low on chips. I then noticed the floor wasn’t clean at all, the tables in the restaurant were also dirty, and the mirrors as well. The toaster machine, bread maker, and other containers in the store were also not kept in well condition. The bathroom was also very disgusting and seemed to have never been cleaned. I hate to say so much bad things about this store but it is honestly true and disgusting. Needs better managements
They're better than they used to be. Probably because they got a new crew. Good as Subway gets, but cleanliness is still an issue. Wait times can get atrocious.
