Ordered on the App twice and my order was not made both times. Pickup on app said 1230, stood and waited in pickup line while I was ignored for 10 minutes (curbside pickup wasn't working) only to be told they didn't have the right bread so my order was canceled at 12:33. I asked if they could make it with any other bread and the man said no because he canceled the order. No apology, and there was a line of people that he said he had to help so this pregnant woman didn't get lunch that day due to my lunch break being nearly over. The other time I tried an order (on a Saturday) they were closed; although the app lead me to believe my food was being made. Don't bother using the app and just avoid this location in general; they don't have the staff to run efficiently nor do they have even bare minimum customer service skills. Wait times are horrendous and if you use the app there is a high probability you won't get any food at all. They need to hire more (qualified) people; perhaps this means paying more to attract better talent.

OH BROTHERRRE!!!! The stench of some of the people in here!!! Do you not know how to shower?? Ring… Ring… “uhm hello?” 7 Eleven called and need you back. They don’t know what 6 inches looks like so they obviously dont know how to cut them 6 inches. Sadly when i get handed something thats 4 inches it brings me back to my 2nd grade days working the urinal holding my own (ifykyk). They obviously not packing! They also use there grubby hands to make my food. I should’ve hopped back there and showed them how. Sadly I will have my wife make my sandwiches as she is more trusted and won’t scam me for my money.?

Came here at 8:39am when the sign and online says it's open at 8. Some lady in short hair yelled from across the parking lot that it's not open (thinking it's just another customer) my boyfriend checks the inside because the door is unlocked and the same lady came yelling at us telling us "I told you it wasn't open!!" This lady was just taking pictures with another girl outside when the hours clearly say they open at 8. And when we asked when it would open she said "I don't know, whenever the Open light is on!"CHANGE YOUR HOURS IF YOU DONT WANT CUSTOMERS WHILE YOURE OUTSIDE TAKING PICTURE OF YOURSELVES. And don't get mad at the customer for your lack of work ethic

Went in with my family and experienced the worst costumer service. One of the workers even raised her voice at my mother for setting her things down on the table and said "Lobby's closed" Nothing else.

BAD Customer service!!! At this location!!!!!Since we entered we were greeted with reluctantly by the employee who provided very poor customer service and was very reluctantly to serve. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT This Subway!!! I tried to be very respectable and patient, end up leaving and NOT get anything by her attitudes !!

This is the worst place i have ever in my life ate at she mad my sandwich horrible putting things on it i did not even want. And when the older gentleman in front of me car ready to pay for his sandwich, she refused to take a $50 bill. He asked for a soda she said they were out of CO2. Then he goes to sit down to eat when the lady starts to yell at him, saying the lobby is closed. Worst customer service in Big Bear would definitely not recommend.

I ordered using the app and it said my food would be ready at 2:30 and when I got there it was closed.... Even though the hours say they are open till 8, the employee who was leaving said they close at 2pm.

On 12/27/2023, my family and I arrived at the Subway in Big Bear at around 1:30pm. Initially my wife and I made 3 orders of the #17 (Roasted Garlic Aioli with Roast Beef). My parents and cousin were sitting down, so we asked them to get up from the table to let the employee (long haired tied back) making the sandwiches know what they wanted on their sandwiches. My dad left his water bottle on the table because he planned to drink it when he sits back down. While we were making our orders, another employee (short haired) started cleaning and putting up the chairs since they all of a sudden decided to close early even though closing time is 8pm. While cleaning, the same employee threw away my dad's water bottle that was on a table. When my father realized it was gone, he was understandably upset, and asked her why she threw it away without asking first. Instead of admitting fault and apologizing, she denied it and acted like she did not see anything. She then tried to gaslight my dad, saying that my dad was being disrespectful, even though she was the disrespectful one by not having the courtesy to ask first before throwing the bottle away, especially since we were the only customers in the restaurant. We continued with our orders, and when we were asking for the roasted garlic aioli spread, the person making our sandwiches said they didn't have that, and have never had it. My wife told her it didn't make sense since it's on the menu. Then the short haired employee said there's no such thing as roasted garlic aioli, and that it's just a brand. If it's just a brand, why bother having it on the menu? If it doesn't exist, then they should have said it at the very start since we ordered 3 sandwiches that were all #17. Now if they ran out of the dressing, then just be honest and say that they ran out, there's no need to try to make a fool out of us. If anything, the first thing they should have said when we walked into the restaurant was that they were closing early because they ran out of ingredients. If they had told us this from the start, we would have understood and just left. While we were paying, I calmly expressed my disappointment about everything that transpired, and the short haired employee responded with "What is wrong with YOU people?" in a discriminating racial undertone since my family and I are Asian. Feeling completely disrespected, I immediately asked her to cancel my original transaction since it included a $5 tip (total $37.62) and to recharge me for just the sandwiches ($32.72). The short hair employee allegedly canceled the original transaction with the tip, but when I reviewed my credit card statement, it shows she still charged me $37.62. After this experience, I will definitely not recommend this location to others since the employees there are dishonest, unprofessional, rude, confrontational, and potentially racists towards people of Chinese and Filipino descent.

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I have been a Subway customer for years and have been to many locations in multiple states and have never experienced a more poorly run franchise location. The manager, Hispanic lady with short black hair is unprofessional and rude and that's being kind. The store is dirty and only wheat bread at 10 am in the morning when they've been open only since 8 am. I'm positive this bread was from the day before since it was stale and hard. They refuse to honor Subway, corporate issued coupons and don't allow you to change your sandwich in any way. They force you to get exactly what comes on the sandwich when you pick a number. What if I'm allergic to tomatoes or something? Completely ridiculous. Judging from all the poor reviews, Subway corporate should step in and make this franchisee retrain or fire these employees. This location gives Subway a poor reputation. Go to Jersey Mike's down the street if you want to be treated with respect and appreciation.

I've been a long-time subway customer, but I must say this visit has to be the worst experience I've ever had. I placed an app order on 12/28/2023 at 9:05 a.m. for 2 footlong sandwiches with your footlong bogo deal. I'll also add that I purchased a $25 gift card with the free 6-inch sub. Once I arrived at the store, I observed one of the employees taking selfies right in front of the front entrance. When I approached the counter to pick up my order, I was informed by your employee that my order wasn't ready and had not been received. Once I pointed out on my app that it showed received by the store, I was told that it's possible the system was down because they had nothing in the system showing my order received. Ironically, after she tells me this, my order completes, and she tells me it will automatically refund the money back to my gift card. This is all totally understandable, but once I expressed to her that we used a Bogo coupon and asked politely if we could place the order instore and redeem the code, her response was, "No, we don't keep coupons in the store! There's nothing we can do!". At this point, with the level of rudeness and lack of customer service, I want to leave the store. My wife says, Let's order food and deal with it later, as she was still willing to make a purchase at this location. We ordered our first sandwich, which was a 6-inch spicy Italian, so we could redeem our free sub, and once again, I'm rudely told our coupon isn't working, and then they proceeded to question me about where I purchased the GC as if it were fraudulent by saying, "Well, where did you purchase this gift card?" And I informed her that this was a promo on the official subway website, and she just proceeds to dismiss it by saying that it's not working. I don't know what to tell you. This totally shocked me and caught me off guard. After our foot-long sandwiches were made, I scanned the gift card, and for some odd reason, this wasn't working as well. I'm rudely told that the QR code coupon for the free 6" is not working, and it's not their problem. Once I paid, I asked for a receipt and received the credit receipt. Once I say no, I may have to itemize one. She tells the other coworker that she placed the receipt in the trash, which she pulls from the garbage and hands to me. This level of rudeness and disappointment really left me with a bad taste in my mouth because of the way I and my family were treated.

I don't like leaving 1 star reviews but sometimes it has to be said and this is for the owner so they know how their business is being run- I just came to this store at 2pm today and the door is locked but the open sign is on. I'm standing there waiting for someone to come to the door when this employee walks right by with a mop, glances and then continues to mop the floor. Another customer came up and knocked on the door with me and this female employee continued to ignore us and go back to the deli to clean. Another employee just showed up and I guess the door is staying locked. Very poor customer service and it doesn't take much to look at a customer and simply say "sorry we are closed" for whatever reason.

manager Jovanni told me and my family they were closed at 2:00p.m. due to her own description, but business hours closed at 8:00p.m. we understood, so we were in the parking lot. Deciding where else to go when a few more customers walk in and she provided service to them, I went back in and asked why we denied/told they were closed but yet still served them she said they were there already clearing a lie and basically laughing knowing she Jovanni got caught being very unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. Subway needs to retrain and discipline workers.
