Appetizer we ordered never arrived but was still on the bill. 2 x chicken salads were over cooked. Brisket was dry. Salad also came out with the wrong dressing. 3+ strikes done. Thankfully they removed the appetizer from the bill and 20%off the food after we politely shared our disappointment.

During the Great storm of 2024 atop big bear mtn. We fought hard and long for a place to rest our weary cold and hungry bodies. After minutes of fighting through snow, people and cars to find a parking spot, we look up. There it was... THE BONE YARD BAR AND GRILL. In all of its glory. Our lives were saved. The corn bread goes hard. Ngl.

Don't use your credit card in that place! After paying my bill a few days later I started getting fraudulent charges on my card. That was the only place I charged with my card. I seldom use that card and when I do I use it with companies I know.

There is a power outage in Big Bear and it seems this is the place where they can still offer good food. The staff here are also incredibly kind and attentive.

We had a great meal here. My husband and I split the rib combo. He ate the ribs and my son and I split the pulled pork. It was delicious. The green beans are incredible too. They use fresh green beans and cook them with onions and bacon. I also loved the beer selection. I think this is one of the best places to eat in the area.
Everyone from the host, server to the manager was so welcoming and they treated us like family. We ordered a burger and the starter pulled pork nachos and the both were very delicious. Thank you so much.

Incredible service, everyone was so personable and attentive, food was delicious, highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and tri tip sandwich. They have their own smoker and make all their meats in house, so good. The vibe of the place was interesting for sure, definitely worth a stop if you're in Big Bear.

I'm confident saying this place offers the best service in big bear, hands down. If you are looking for a dinner, lunch or drinks you MUST swing by and ask for John.
