It's a small place and the food is okay. to me it was like processed food and frozen food from the store. I didn't like how the service was but it was fast. Just not my taste but it depends on you...

Came to thelma's for the first time ever on a Saturday night before closing. We had a lovely server named Brett, he is a king. He made our night. The restaurant was so cozy and welcoming. Both my friend and I were in bad mood that night, but boy did our frowns turn into smiles real quick! I had the tuna melt, my friend had a burger. We both agreed it was the best food we had the entire trip and Brett's service was phenomenal (give him a raise Thelma) The food was so good we had to return the next morning for breakfast. Let me tell you... the breakfast was life changing. Their home fries are stupendous! I highly recommend everyone check this place out. They deserve 3/3 Michelin stars!!

It's one of the original and coziest places up here. All the waitresses make you feel like you're at home. The food is great quality. Always. The prime rib and the pot pie absolutely rock.

i'm from phoenix and me and my girlfriend took a trip to big bear for my birthday weekend and we stumbled upon thelma's right across the way from our Air BnB, & the food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. the mash potatoes reminded me of grandmas, the service food and ambiance really make you feel as if your at grandmas for the weekend. dinner was so good we had to come back first thing in the morning for breakfast before we left. absolutely 10/10 i need to go back there ASAP

The mahi mahi was good. Cozy, cabin-like atmosphere with a warm stove. Friendly service and good food. I had dinner and breakfast the next day.

Every month, I make a trip up to Big Bear, rain or shine, snow or not, and I stop at Thelma's. With the cozy atmosphere in the fall & winter and outdoor seating in the spring and summer it's just a great place to stop and enjoy the moment at.

We ordered biscuits and gravy to go and the biscuits were hard as a rock. We've ordered this for 20 years and never had a problem till now.

Our server was very obviously new. It was a rough start but she had a wonderful personality and quickly fixed any issues. The burgers were some of the best I've ever had and we were all raving about it the rest of the day. Would definitely come

I was here on Saturday, Jan. 13 around 11 and sat at the bar area. I didn’t catch the name of the server who took care of me, but she was one of the warmest, most welcoming servers I’ve ever interacted with. She was so kind and attentive and made me feel like I was the only person in the restaurant. Plus the food was great! So glad I stopped by during my trip to the area.

Saturday night all you can eat beef ribs were not that good.not much meat, more fatty than meat and the cook burt all 3 pieces.mash potatoes covered with to much gravy and not to fresh. There home made pastries we're excellent.customer service was excellent.there turkey sandwiches were very good but the chicken pastas tasted rubbery and were drenched with to much butter.

Overcharged and the waitress could not provide the reason as to why there was an added $30 fee to our bill after 3 adults calculated all the food ordered with 20% gratuity fee included.Respect your customers and don't steal their money. We would not have minded leaving a greater tip if this resturant and their staff upheld honesty.
