Great coffee! The iced pour over was tasty, the lavender cold brew left a bit to be desired, but was good enough. Food options seemed a bit pricey.

Gem of a coffee shop. Locally owned / non chain coffee shop with some really well done coffee. Mochas are a bright spot. Well worth a stop. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere.

First time visiting today around 11:30 am. Cashier was friendly but really chatty. Held a baby and a conversation with the customer in front of me for some time… THEN she asked for his order. Food took a while but that’s understandable, I ordered the stuffed toast and asked for bacon only to get home and it wasn’t there. I have no desire to return and stand in line again. I spent $34, that’s a lot of money to not get an item I had to pay extra for. Not sure if I’d go back or find another small coffee shop. Maybe paying attention to detail would better help in the future

Obsessed with their avacado toast! So much going on and all good. Stats with the thick and deliciously sour sourdough ?. Highly recommend. A bit on the pricey side but great options including gluten free waffles.

Big House Beans is a coffee shop and cafe located in Brentwood, California. They serve a variety of coffee drinks, pastries, and breakfast and lunch items. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.I recently visited Big House Beans for the first time and was impressed with the food and service. I ordered the Acai Bowl, which was made with fresh acai berries, granola, bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. The bowl was delicious and filling, and the granola was crunchy and flavorful. I also tried the Oatmeal Bowl, which was made with steel-cut oats, blueberries, cinnamon, and honey. The oatmeal was cooked perfectly and was served with a side of fresh fruit.I was also impressed with the selection of chia seeds that Big House Beans offers. They have a variety of flavors, including blueberry, strawberry, and cinnamon. I added a scoop of chia seeds to my oatmeal bowl, and they added a nice flavor and texture to the dish.Overall, I had a great experience at Big House Beans. We were in a rush to get on the road. Saw this local coffee place and hoped that we could get a quick bite. Ordered an oatmilk latte and an avacado toast with eggs and bacon. They messed up both orders. They forgot to send the order to the kitchen. So I had to wait 30 minutes. No eggs on the avocado. I paid 2$ and 25% tip in advance. I really hate tipping ahead of getting good food. Not cool. The coffee was diluted and cold. I do NOT recommend this place unless you sit there to eat so they can fix what they mess up. Very incompetent and inefficient staff. No one answered my call so I could get this sorted.

Big House has high quality beans enabling a ton of potential but their brewing lacks consistency and follow through. Their beans should be ground and enjoyed at home.Big House as a coffee shop is better than Starbucks, but has a lot of room to grow. They prepull their espresso, allowing it to get cold before making a milk drink. They do not dial in consistently, so their espresso is hit and miss, and their lattes have variable foam landing somewhere between a separated layer and cappuccino. Everyone has an off day, so I gave them 3 separate visits over 6 months, unfortunately each time the quality missed the mark promised by their branding.Big House purports itself as a 3rd wave coffee shop but bundles high quality beans into a mom and pop Midwest coffee.

Best coffee and advacado toast around! Servers could be more friendly. But they are usually busy, busy.

Honestly haven’t had a bad cup of coffee or tea since going here. Ordered the Lavender Cold brew and it’s the perfect balance of rich coffee and floral lavender. The pump’kin chai (with oat milk for me) is delicious and it doesn’t taste like artificial pumpkin / gross sweetener. I’ll go out of my way to come here because I know the quality is good, the customer service is there for you, and the community cherishes this place. It’s a 10/10
