Ordered to go. Kinda messy in the box but tasted fine. The lady who answered and took the order was incredibly rude. When placed an order for another item that was the bigger version, she made a rude comment," it's gonna cost more money!," and still couldn't place the order correctly. So we just ordered 2 of the same because she just wasn't understanding what we wanted. I went in to pick up and she had a younger gentlemen ring me up. He was very kind. I nicely asked him for extra salsa and after he put it in the bag, the lady who took the order made a comment to him with a snarky attitude saying that she "already added sauce for me" (but that was the normal amount that comes with the chips). I wanted extra as I had 2 bags for 4 people. Either way her customer service skills were incredibly rude over the phone and in person. I didn't get her name but she wasn't one of the regular woman who had been there a long time. (They are all very kind) This woman had an overkill of makeup on....like drag queen style...and honestly she should spend that time she uses on makeup to work on her manners and customer service skills.

The decor is authentic but, there weren't many people inside for there to be any real ambiance as we visited between lunch and dinner. That said, this place is a jewel. The food is excellent and, my server practically read my mind the entire time we were there. I made sure to tip extra. I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for a good Mexican food place. This has been my "go to" for years. The food is served very hot and promptly. Drinks constantly refreshed and, the cuisine (even though we don't order too much out of the ordinary) is prettyyyyyy to look at. This isn't some watered down fare, it's the real deal. I love that they use shredded chicken instead of chopped or cubed on the chicken tacos & chicken enchiladas. Even the chips and salsa are very good and refreshed quickly...no looking around wondering where your server is. I do not like experimenting when I'm hungry, you cannot go wrong at this place.

This place is amazing! My family has been coming here for over 20 years plus we have used them for family parties and frequently come here for dinner. The food is always fresh,tasty and delicious. We had Ariana as our server tonight and she was beyond friendly helped us with suggestions and made great margaritas. Rude employees. Incompetent. My wife took my young children there for lunch. The girls that worked there were rude. They were sarcastic and mean. She got the order wrong and then argued with my wife and refused to make it right. We’ve been coming to this restaurant since 1985, but we will never go again. What a shame.

I'll give it 4 stars because the veggie burrito was very good. The waitress was not tentative and the place was empty. The chips in the basket were crumbs with a few whole chips. My wife's carne asada burrito was huge but the meat looked and tasted like it sat for hours.
