Great large and clean dining area. We came here to take a break from strawberry and cherry picking. Bento includes two items of the choice. Oyako Don includes variety vegetables but little be salty. Dragon rolls have crunchy shrimp tempura which is great. Hope they can make sushi rolls with less rice.

Solid place for sushi. Their sashimi is super fresh. I waited until I had gone twice to make sure that the fish was fresh different times of the week. This will be our go to sushi place in Brentwood and we have tried them all.

Food here is quite amazing.. East-bay has nothing like this... sushi is amazing.. we highly recommend Brussels sprouts appetizer along with Gyoza... Absolutely delicious!! I had Hamachi Kama a the Rainbow roll... delicious... delicious!!!Service is amazing and prices are very reasonable for the freshness of fish ... A must try!!!And the Ambiance is date night quality!

Amazing high quality sushi. Possibly our new favorite sushi anywhere I've had in the Easy Bay. For appetizers we ordered Gyoza & Chicken Karaage.Gyoza was perfect. Fried crisp perfectly & soft middle. Very flavorful. Chicken Karaage (kinda like popcorn chicken lol) was so great and different. Cooked perfectly and the breading or coating was very light. We got a bunch of sushi.... Warrior Roll, Brentwood PD roll, French Kiss Roll, Super Dynamite roll, Crunchy Tuna roll, Toro Fatty Tuna Nigiri & Unagi Don bowl. Got a Bento Box with Teriyaki Chicken & Chicken Katsu. It was the least liked item, but still good. Every one of the sushi rolls were absolutely amazing. All the fish were crazy fresh, very very high quality and nothing was overly sauced, which it seems a lot of places do to mask the lack of flavor. Toro Fatty Tuna Nigiri was soooooooo smooth and maybe the best piece of raw fish I've ever tried. The service was great. The place was almost empty for Wednesday lunch, so everything was quick and zero wait. I like the ambiance with dimmed lighting and the different plates and wood tables and black wood chopsticks. I don't believe they have beers on tap, but I got a large bottle of Kirin, which I love.It is a bit expensive. 4 people was like $200 with only one beer. But we ordered enough food for probably 6 people, because we wanted to try a lot, so maybe not that bad, but still more pricy than most. Need to go back for dinner as that menu had more food, especially the cooked options it seems.

Unjustifiably expensive. Crazy how the family of 4 (2 toddlers) can be still hungry after spending 110$ in sushi place...The place itself is clean, the service is ok (the waitress had some issues with understanding English but was very nice and kind)The price and the size of the portion is ridiculous. 17$ for a medium size sushi and 15$ for a salmon wrapped in cucumber (Kyuzou roll). I was shocked...We're trying new places but our favorite is still Enishi with great prices and great portions. Don't get me wrong. I usually order 2 portions and can feed myself and my toddler girl (2,5). And now I'm sitting and having a dinner at home and kids are still hungry. That's not ok. I'm happy to pay if there is a reason for it.The rice is fresh, fish too. But the Kyuzou roll supposed to have tobiko on top and I can barely see it on the sushi. Long story short: for this amount of food and quality I would pay at least 30% less otherwise not worth it

The only negative was finding the place. I was literally sitting in my car, looking for another Japanese restaurant, because I couldn't find this one. I looked at a pic someone else had posted of the exterior and figured out where the entrance was - in the corner, across from Chiantis.Excellent ambiance, with the wood tables, fancy chopsticks, and thick napkins. Food was well cooked and presented quickly. Would visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kyuzou Sushi and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and service. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.The sushi itself was some of the best I've ever had. The fish was incredibly fresh and the presentation was beautiful. Each bite was a burst of flavor and I was truly impressed by the level of craftsmanship that went into each dish.The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, making sure that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch.Overall, I would highly recommend Kyuzou Sushi to anyone looking for an exceptional sushi experience. From start to finish, my visit was truly memorable and I can't wait to go back again soon. Five stars!

Came in for two rolls and although I was expecting the portion to be small it was actually smaller then I had anticipated for. I knew it was a Brentwood sushi place but like I said even with my low expectations it out did itself. Probably wouldn’t try again myself personally. Onto the next Brentwood sushi place
