I love Prime & Beyond. Everything is perfect. The best beef steak you can have in Orange County area. Parking is also free and spacious. Thus, it's great for family dinner gathering. Great location, awesome steak, classy vibe modern steakhouse. I

This place was neither Prime or Beyond when it came to the quality of the food and service. Located in what seemed like a converted house that was hidden away from Beach Blvd. in the city of Buena Park, this was no hidden gem. First of all, the parking lot was almost empty which should have been a sign that this place was not popular and had very few customers. We walked in to see a butcher counter that had packaged meat which did not look fresh. The owner was an older Korean man who smiled and said hi, but had the server seat us versus himself, there was no host or hostess. We were seated at a table that honestly the decor was quite tacky with a green paper like table cloth and orange placemats that looked like it had been a throwback to the 70s. The cups were plastic and don't bother ordering soda, because it was like $3 for a can! I ordered the iced green mandarin tea which basically tasted like bitter water. The server was nice, however he was quiet and not knowledgeable about the restaurant or the menu. I asked if the appetizers were actually made in house such as the onion rings and fried calamari, he said they came frozen out of a bag. The menu was not helpful, it did not provide a description for the entrees nor did it indicate that the steak came with potatoes, green beans, baby carrots, roasted garlic, and horseradish. It would have been nice to either have that stated on the menu or for the server to tell us that's what it would come with. We ordered a caesar salad and bone marrow as appetizers; first off the server said the bone marrow would take 30 minutes, then when it did come out, it was served with kimchi on top which was not very pleasing to the eye and off putting, it should have been placed to the side or as an option. Then the caesar salad had thinly sliced apples and crackers (from a box) that seemed to be thrown into the salad as a garnish, this was not a Caesar's salad! What if we had allergies or did not prefer these additions which were not typical for these dishes, clearly it should have been stated on the menu. Also, the sides we ordered: mushrooms, brussel sprouts, asparagus, and egg fried rice seemed very lacking in flavor. There was no kids menu which basically didn't cater to families with young children, yet they had a booster chair for my 3 year old to sit on. My steak was a medium cooked ribeye and it was something you could make at home, nothing special with the seasoning or way it was prepared. My other complaint was that the price was outrageous! For 4 adults to eat, it cost with tax and a 20% tip, well over $400!!! This was not a fancy steakhouse so it did not match up to the price. This was the first and last time coming here. I strongly suggest you go somewhere else if you want a good steak. The owner/manager needs to read this review and make changes to their menu because this was not worth our money or appetite, again, this place is NOT WORTH IT!

Came here with my sister to try their smaller plates. We ordered the bone marrow, fried shrimp, lamb chops and kimchi fried rice. Next time, I'll try the steaks. The place is a bit hidden, so follow google maps exactly.

Such a beautiful place! I was surprised that it wasn't busy because the restaurant was so amazing! The staff was extremely sweet!! Not sure if it was the owner but our group absolutely adored him because of his generosity. The menu seemed a bit confusing because it's not too detailed on what each item entails. But we were not disappointed. Surf n turf was so worth it! More of a sharable for two people. Everything was soooo delicious!! Definitely will be coming back when I return to Buena Park!

A hidden gem in Buena Park! We were looking for a place to get steak as black angus down the street had an hour and half wait to be seated so i hopped on Yelp and this popped up in my search. Having lived in Area for most of my life, it came as a surprise to me that there was a steakhouse nearby. So we hopped in the car and drove over. I called ahead of time and they said they could squeeze in a table for us if we could arrive in the next 10 minutes which was easy for us as we were just down the street. It is in a very unassuming location right off Beach Boulevard. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the gentleman that answered my phone call. We were seated right away in a little booth. The servers were very nice and attentive. I ordered the filet. It was very good and tender. My mom ordered the filet with bacon on top and loved it. And my husband ordered the Ribeye and he also enjoyed it. Each dish comes with some potatoes and veggies. We ordered a side of asparagus, french fries and grilled veggies. Our favorite side was the grilled veggies. My only complaint about our visit was the wine selection. There weren't very good wines to choose from but that's a personal preference. They were very busy on a Saturday night. It was a nice surprise to find a new place to have a nice dinner in Buena Park. Definitely recommend visiting them!

Amazingly delicious tomahawk steak - DEFINITELY WORTH A TRY, I can't wait to come back and try other butcher cuts. The owner was shortstaffed so we felt bad for him, but still so gracious and got us our food pronto! We loved the rose pasta, mussels, kimchi fried rice and mashed potatoes, the caesar salad was just aight~ in other words, going to come back to try everythang else~ ^_^V

A hidden gem in buena park. I wasnt expecting to find such a solid steakhouse in this area but this was excellent! I thought the prices were a little steep when I initially saw the menu prices but after getting the food, it was well worth it. Highly recommend you check it out! Service was excellent too. Our waiter couldnt have been more cordial and attentive.

Randomly found this place on yelp and tried it for my birthday. It certainly did not disappoint! Not only was food delicious, but the owner Benedict gave us top notch service! He was more than generous it providing us with a couple free drinks! This place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back again!! Thank you again for the great hospitality Benedict

Long over due review - this was from October 2021. Visiting from out of town, and was craving a steak. Stumbled upon this place and we are sooo glad we went in. It was kind of late, so we were afraid we weren't going to get seated but we gave it a try anyways. We were surprised to see how busy they were on a Thursday night! Ambiance was modern, quaint and the restrooms are very clean. My first observation, was the plastic cups that they served water in. For a steakhouse or a fine dining establishment, the plastic cups didn't do this place any justice. I was also disappointed not to see a bread basket. We ordered Caesar salad, Calamari, Rib eye steak, lobster tail, mashed potato and asparagus. Everything was soo delicious and cooked to perfection. Josh our server was a very friendly hard working college student. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Benedict as he took the time to come by our table and asked us how we were enjoying our food. We got to chat for a few minutes and we're really impressed by his hospitality. He even offered us a complimentary glass of wine and dessert which is always a nice gesture and a way to earn this review and to get me to come back! If you're ever in the area - check them out!

Always on the hunt for a great ribeye, we came across this place on Yelp that we had never heard of before. With its 4.5 star ratings, we thought "what could go wrong?" I called an hour before we wanted to go and was surprised to find that they had openings at our desired time on a Saturday night. In fact, the entire time we were there, it was just us, another couple, and one family occupying the entire restaurant. The directions to get there took us through an alley near a residential area. Apparently the space used to be a former coffee shop that unfortunately did not survive the pandemic. The new owners of this restaurant remodeled the space and turned it into a warm and inviting setting. It has a strange L-shaped layout inside with tables available both inside and outside. The outside is decked out with beautiful lights! It's a casual environment as opposed to a fine dining setting. Service by Josh was spectacular. He was the only server working the tables the whole time we were there. We brought our own wine and it was a small corkage fee of $15. Josh opened our bottle of wine but didn't pour it for us, which was unusual. Aside from that, he was outstanding! Josh mentioned that there were four sides/appetizers that were not available that night, and we overheard him tell the other table that they didn't have certain wines listed on their menu. Not sure why they didn't have all of their menu items, but that seemed like a lot of items to not have available when the menu isn't that large. The strangest part of the table set-up were the plastic water cups. They have such beautiful plates and wine glasses, yet they use plastic cups for the water. It was so out of place that I had to take a photo of it. My husband & I both ordered the ribeyes medium rare for $50 each. It came with small potatoes, vegetables and very spicy cauliflower - you've been warned! We also ordered a side of sautéed mushrooms for $12. Hubby ordered a Caesar salad for $12 (it was huge) and they gave us a complimentary cheesecake for dessert. The ribeyes were unfortunately not cooked evenly. The outer part was medium rare, but the center was well-done. I had to eat around the center. The ribeyes were seasoned well, but mine had a lot of fat on it. The mushrooms were tasty, but overly salty. The cheesecake was good, especially for free! Unfortunately I can't say that I'd return again. There are better places in the area to get a ribeye, but we were glad to have checked it out.
