Be sure to make a reservation, or else you will be waiting a long time to be seated depending on the time of day. It's been years since we've dinned here, and it's still The BEST fried chicken around. Our table had the fried chicken, chicken pot pie, chicken dumpling, everything was AMAZING, the fried chicken was not greasy at all, the pot pie was a little dry, however I was given extra gravy/sauce to use, delish! The boysenberry salad dressing is incredible, everything was yummy! Lots of food, plenty to take home. Our tummy's were full. Overall the food is absolutely delicious. The hostess and staff, and of course our waitress were all very kind and very attentive. Will definitely go back :)

The fried chicken dinner was super bland. The best part of the meal was the chicken noodle soup

A true delight. We chose the traditional fried chicken and it was very good. Plenty of sides -- and delicious Boysenberry pie as an included desert. Highly recommended. And they validate parking.

The food was actually better than I expected as it had been almost 20 years since I had been there. The quality remained the same and the value for what we got was great. Tony was our server and truly incredible - he is what made the experience memorable and people like him are what drive people to come back. We were sat in the bar area for dinner and it was quite loud and made it hard to chat over larger and louder parties but all and all, was a good experience to celebrate a special birthday.

Most of the staff had an attitude and seemed bothered. The busser was very helpful and pleasant though. Food was good, took over an hour to get food, and took over 20 minutes to be greeted by server.

Food was delicious. Loved the biscuits. Split our meal and it was plenty of food. Will definitely go back

Maybe the restaurant was shorted staffed. After waiting for 10 minutes at our table without being acknowledged, my wife went to ask for a server. It then took a very long time to get our biscuits, side dishes etc. Then, soon after we got the biscuits, cabbage, salads and rhubarb, our fried chicken and mashed potatoes were delivered. We barely got started on the salads. On a positive note, the fried chicken was the best we've tasted at Knott's! Juicy and tender!

I wish I could remember both of our waiter's names, but I digress. Service was excellent! Biscuits were on point and we ordered something out of the norm. Cesear salad. Excellent. One and done, were the Rock-hard chicken wings to remain truthful with my interviews, however everything else was so go, I wont take any points off. Bravo!

Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner was a fabulous experience. The country theme was sweet, the food was amazing and the service was prompt considering the flood of people leaving the park and heading into Scary Farm like we were. We look forward to making this stop next year!

Mrs Knott's chicken dinner is always a family hit. Dawn warmly greeted us at the front desk. She happily accommodated us in the Tea room. Food is always delicious. Fried chicken dinner, chicken pot pies some of our favorites. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went to Mrs. Knott's for lunch on Monday 10/6/25. We had a reservation and were seated right away by a very pleasant hostess. Service was slow but when our waitress finally came, she was also very welcoming. We were excited to be there, for the nostalgia. Unfortunately our chicken dinners were very subpar. The fried chicken was very dry and didn't have much flavor - definitely not the chicken we remembered from the past. Our mashed potatoes actually had a skin that had dried onto them. The chicken soup was “okay” but was so thick, it was more like a thick chicken gravy than soup. Our chicken dinners actually seemed to be more like day old leftovers. They definitely weren't freshly made. We were sadly disappointed and felt that the 2 chicken dinners were very overpriced.

Food was really good. However, service was slow. Waiter would disappear and would have to flag someone else down. Waited 15 minutes just to get check and only after approaching front desk did our waiter appear with the check.

Customer service sub par, waiter seemed too distracted and was not too attentive. Food was brought out all at once, famous fried chicken dinner was ok, ordered white meat but it really lacked flavor. Chicken and dumplings were better. Boysenberry lemonade was too tart, not sweet enough. Had to ask for silverware and napkins twice, there was none at our table. I had to get up at one point and get my table napkins and knives. Was not offered refill for my drink. just not the level of service I expected.

Food was horrible. Asked for plain pasta for the kids and server said everything is pre maid. Asked server for all flats on wing order and same thing all pre made. Ordered chicken and waffle sliders, the chicken was a breaded chicken patty that looked like a frozen Tyson patty. It was just all gross. Never again. Bill for 2 Asians 2 kids under 6 was $100!

I've been coming here for years, I love their chicken and sides. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect chicken spot.
