We are not locals and took a chance eating, just glancing at the google ratings and their menu. Our food took awhile, I ordered chicken sandwich, bowl of clam chowder, my husband order a cheese burger/fries. Loved the Hefeweizen. My server asked how I liked my meal, I told her the chowder tasted burnt, I didn't tell her my chicken sandwich was cold not even warm. My husband said he doesn't like his food hot, so his was fine, the fries were warm. As we paid our bill, our server said mine was taken care of, she didn't explain and gave the bill to my husband. I assume the management takes pride with the patrons that enjoy the food. This was really nice of them, but it would have been nice to have a visit by the manager at least to explain and thank him; we did thank our server. Perhaps it was just a bad day, I'm sure they have great favorites that are really good.

The food options here have never been great. Limited menu. The beer is not good. I went today for lunch because my girlfriend wanted to. their beers are warm due to a down fridge, except one that I don't drink. I still decided to stay Because My girlfriend wanted to. Then they told us they are still prepping the tuna that she ordered 1 hour after the lunch menu started leaving us with the appetizer we ordered and 2 waters. I guess I could lose some weight eating here and save some money too. That's a plus... I guess. When the staff saw we were only having that, they ignored us. No refills on our water or anything.

7/31/2023Went with coworkers for happy hour. We had appetizers and beers. I enjoyed the Amber. Everyone seemed to love the garlic fries. The calamari and wings were also good. I want to go back and try one of the pizzas. The server was nice and interactive. Good times.

This was a great stop and easy walk from the hotel. We were hungry but the food came fast and it was delicious! The service was great , we were pleasantly surprised because it was a busy evening .We had just driven about 6 hrs from the Bay Area and we were exhausted.Big thanks to the team at this restaurant!Fast Friendly Services and great food and ice cold beer just what I needed after driving all day for a critical family event. Yes, I left a nice tip of appreciation. ?Sorry I was to hungry to take pictures but I couldn't eat it all and took it back to the room.

Great environment, decent menu, friendly staff. A pleasant experience every time.(I mistakenly reviewed the location in Burbank, not realizing the San Diego location had sadly closed.)I've been to the S.F. and San Jose, and San Diego locations over the years and they were all great. Sorry to see some close.I'll always stop in when I'm nearby, so STAY OPEN.

First of all amazing service. Very polite and welcoming servers. The food and drinks were delicious. My favorite is burger sliders. Cool place for evening dinner.

This was a pleasant surprise. Been years since we had been here and so many restaurants have lost their way since the pandemic but not this one. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was delicious, portions were good sized and prices were reasonable. We'll be back sooner than later.

Two stars because the waiter was kind, he was not really attentive. I waited about 28 minutes to be greeted after being seated. 3/10 would recommend so you know what that means 10/10 would not recommend. The drink was weak and small, it was mainly ice with pineapple juice and a hint of mango purée juice. The fries were soggy oily and limp, I ask for crunchy fries but it was more of the same. Chicken was dry, I ate around it and covered the rest with my napkin. the broccoli was not cooked properly and it was crunchy to the max. The mash potatoes without any sort of gravy was dry. The whole experience was a never again for me, I always say I’ll give a restaurant a second chance but not this time. Once’s was more than enough. I wouldn’t force my worst enemy to eat there.

We actually liked it so much the first time, we came back a couple nights later. The first night was a comedy showcase. Our server would bring us silverware, and then the busboy would come take it away. Then our server would walk by, look confused, and bring us more silverware. This happened a couple of times until we laughingly resorted to putting our silverware in our laps or leaning over the table to guard the cutlery whenever the busboy walked by. Seriously, it will be one of our favorite memories from this vacation. Also, the food and drinks are really good. The wagyu burger and the pizzas were especially tasty, deviled eggs and pretzel appetizers were favorites, and the beer flight was delicious.

Its was worth the drive from San Jose California just to have one more time the Cajun fish tacos, garlic fries, a winter boch beer and a golden export. Ther service was outstanding. The environment was under-rated. Like always before. The food and drinks deserved a 100 out of 10.Parking: I believe you can ask at the end of your visit for a parking validation to your server.

Whether it's watching a game or sharing convo with friends over a beer, Gordon Biersch is the pub of choice. I can't recommend their Wagyu burger highly enough. And their salads are delish! Friendly and attentive staff round out a delightful experience!
