This is a review long time coming, we ordered here one day for lunch on a craving for wings specifically but the pizzas were far too tempting to ignore. We ended up with a half and half pizza and wings and an order of fried zucchini. Due to Covid, the store that actually had the fryer for the zucchini was closed but the store called ahead and we worked out getting another order of wings in its place. While one would THINK that would dock a star or something it did not. It was impressive customer service to us that they called immediately to figure out a way to make our meal complete and leave us happy. As it happens that was the perfect choice but I'll get to that in a minute. First up! We had a medium pizza half Hay Market and half a classic Margarita. This pizza, was perfect. Me and my friends love pizza and you know that point when you eat and the dough becomes so much that your jaw hurts while chewing? Yea that doesn't happen here. The dough tastes hand made and stretched and still has a soft moistness to it that means your jaw will not tire. Thank goodness because the crust is so good! The ingredients all taste fresh too and the Hay Market has everything blend so well together, this might be our favorite already but there's lots of ones to try. Thankfully there's three of us at work! Now the wings, if you have trouble with spice or heat I'm going to warn you now. There's no option for a no heat that we saw and these pack a tiny punch them. Not huge, but enough for you to go, wow! Kick but little heat if that makes sense. But like I mentioned, the heat is minimal really and just brings out more of the flavor. The chicken is perfectly cooked, no weird fatty bits it's all perfectly cooked and delicious. Highly recommend you to give them a try and in these times we're living in helping a small business of great!

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we arrived in this fine restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with first-rate cooking and an efficient crew and a great cuisine. We added this place in our list and we shall no doubt return soon. We deeply recommend.

We were in the area looking for dinner for the kids. We ordered pizza w/pepperoni and sausage. This place gets 5/5 from us for the food and the service. My kids thought the pizza was great-crust that's thin and not dry, sauce is good(not salty/bitter/tangy), toppings were flavorful. The owner and employees were very friendly, giving us recommendations on what to check out visiting Burbank/N Hollywood area. Next time we're in the area, we'll be sure to come by again!

I wish I could give this place a higher rating, but I can't. I hope the owner or manager reads this review and takes heed. --- A small obstacle with the menu on the overhead blackboard is that there are 3 columns of prices representing 3 sizes of pizza, but there are actually 4 sizes of pizzas, so this is confusing, because the columns don't have headers/labels. The smallest one is actually the 8" Personal, but it's the one that is not referred to by the overhead menu. A mere cheese pizza, Personal size, goes for $9.95. The 1st column on the overhead menu is for 14", for which a cheese pizza costs $12.95. But if you do the math, the 14" pizza is almost exactly 3 times as big as the 8", so the 8" pizza is a bad deal. You may as well only consider a 14" or larger, and then if you can't eat it all, take the remainder home. --- DRINKS. They have both bottled drinks in a fridge, and a soda fountain with several brands andt also has the little buttons for WATER and SODA (soda water), which is great, as I like root beer with pizza but I want to dilute all sodas with soda water because they are too sweet and strong for me. --- PIZZA. I ordered a 14" cheese with sausage added. The sausage was small round slices from links, which I prefer over ground/crumbled. The balance between cheese and tomato sauce was good. But the pizza failed because the crust was unbelievably thin (except for the edge, which was 2 or 3 times as thick). The excessive thinness causes 2 problems. First, the crust is too thin and flimsy to stay firm or semi-rigid when you pull out a slice. Once it's on your plate, it's almost impossible to pick it up and eat it with your hands, because the "pointer" part that was in the center drops down and the cheese and toppings start to slide off. You really have to get your fingers dirty and greasy to hold that front part level so you can eat it. (They do not provide a knife and fork.) The other problem is that on the 95% majority of the pizza that is not the edge, you cannot taste the crust at all, so it's like you're not even eating pizza. It's the crust that makes a pizza, not the cheese or tomato sauce or toppings, and the yeastier it tastes, the better it tastes. Only when you take a bite that includes some of the edge does it feel like you are truly eating pizza. When the young server guy asked me how my pizza was and I gave him this feedback in brief, he mentioned the Sicilian pizza that had a thick crust, which was good to know, but it looks like it would cost around $20 with 1 topping ($16.95 base price). But the main point is that their basic pizzas need to have a crust that is at least twice as thick as they currently are. --- The other thing that was not enjoyable was that the room was way too cold because the front door was propped all the way open. I just got colder and colder as I sat and ate. I told the young man about this, how the door really needs to be closed when it's so cold outside, but he just gave the excuse that if the door is left closed, then when people leave, it slams so hard that the windows rattle loudly, etc. Well, let's just use our brains. You can install a spring mechanism that reaches from the frame to the door and makes the door close slowly and can't slam. Or, even cheaper, maybe you could attach a rubber impact-absorber on the frame. But until some remedy is implemented, I can't recommend eating here when the temperature drops to near 60, or lower. --- I'll have to think about whether I want to go back and fork over $20 to try the Sicilian pizza. But I definitely won't go back for a regular pizza until they at least double the thickness of the crust across the whole pizza.

Group of ten about an hour to close. They helped us immediately, made suggestions, gave us the timeframe and got stuff started while we were still waiting for the rest of our party. Helpful, kind, and the food was bonkers good.

I finally got back here for redemption. It was definitely better than my prior visit. Granted... I'm used to New York pizza in New York City...so my standards are pretty high. The lady at the register, possibly the owner, thanked me for my business and was very friendly. I got home and ate the whole pizza! So yes...changing rating from 1 to a 4.

Amazing pizza and wings! Go get some, now!! The owner is so sweet and helpful. The family recipe with the wings might just be the best wings I've ever had, will take more research to be sure. Haha. The pizza crust was incredible. Perfectly cooked and had the perfect crunch. I can't recommend this place enough

It's one of those places we've passed by so many times but have never gone in. We wanted to try something new and had a taste for pizza so we decided to check out the menu. Since there were two of us, the lady recommended getting the large pizza to start (6 slices total). We got a margherita pizza to share and it was delicious! We'll definitely be coming back for the wings!

We were out and about in downtown Burbank looking for a place to eat. We've noticed this place before, it just never seemed appealing from the outside. My kids were hungry and wanted to try out the place. OMG! The food was amazing! My son and I got the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and my other boy got a pepperoni pizza. The eggplant was sliced and breaded to perfection. The bread it was made with tasted like it was made that morning. The amount marinara sauce put on the sandwich was just right. It wasn't drowning in sauce making the eggplant the star. The crust on pepperoni pizza was rustic and crispy. My kiddo never eats the crust; he ate this crust. In fact, he ate to whole pizza (personal size). One of my sons and I are vegetarian. It's hard to find places to eat were the quality of the food is decent. This place is definitely on our radar now.

Local shop with great owners and terrific pizza, voted #1 in Burbank, and there is a reason for that..

Me and my friends were trying to dine in, but apparently they were about to close. The lady taking the order didn't tell us that and brought the order in to go boxes. Eventually she didn't let us even eat inside and kicked us out. I really didn't plan on having anything to go, and after all my girl threw up since the food was too bad.(never order those meatballs)
