My mission in life is to bring this quality of food to Utah. You see Utahns think they know good food but they don't. They are deceived and lack exposure to real life. They will admantly defend mediocrity. I rail on such.Wokcano's (as I call it) definitely does NOT need my review for publicity: it is a well known, popular, and successful Zagat rated eatery. It survived Covid and everything else the economy has thrown at it...because awesomeness kind of does that.Just about everything is perfect here: atmosphere, cleanliness, high quality ingredients, recipes, diversity in the menu, service, and overall management. The service and friendliness of the staff has always been superb. Tonight I had 3 separate people check up on me and deliver service. And I was one dude: not a large table of people. So they weren't after a tip. It's just how they operate here...and I've been here a lot.I ordered the shrimp/white breast chicken meat Double Kung Pao and a double portion of their spicy seafood soup (minus the mussels). That's right: a double portion to make Daddy happy. Both of these dishes were again perfection as was the steamed white rice. You might ask "How would steamed white rice NOT be perfect?" The answer: go to Utah and you'll see a number of ways to screw it up.From the photos check out the quality of the ingredients: note the huge portions of white fish and whole cleaned shrimp in the soup. Have fun finding that in Utah: it doesn't exist. There you'll get a gelatin infused, slimy "egg drop" soup that seems it was made by a 7th grader in Home Ec that didn't get it right. Wokcan soups are amazing. Also the Double Kung Pao was destination worthy. This is the kind of food you will remember forever and seek it out...it doesn't matter if it's expensive...it's that good.Add in friendliness and prompt service and you have the perfect and memorable night out with family and friends. I have been here many times and I just wish I could open the eyes of restaurant morons of where in Utah so I didn't have to travel so far to achieve such Chinese food nirvana.

I ordered one order of rice and one order of orange chicken at 5 pm. it said it will be delivered at 6:45 latest. Its now 7:41 and my order hasnt even been made. The lady at the front desk is ridiculously rude and no help at all. She has attitude and hangs the phone up instead of assisting like she is paid to do. Do not recommend. Save your time and your money
Great happy hour selection. Service at the bar was fast and friendly.

The skin of the fish is not fried, the inside of the shrimp is not peeled and you can’t even feel the taste, the shrimp is so small. Only rice and oil are felt. It is spicy, as I understand it, so that not everyone can feel how poorly cooked it is. But the whole point is in the cook, he cooks without wanting to make it tasty. They also told me it was baked sushi, but it was served cold. When I said that it was not tasty, they just said “I’m sorry”, and I’m so sorry that I came here

This place used to be great. We had dinner today. Had attitude from our server, had to ask for place settings and they served the entrees before the appetizers! Plus it was HOT inside. We noticed the restaurant across the street just closed down. If you continue, you may be next. You need to train your entire staff on the basics...seriously for what you charge !? I get better attitide and service from Mc Donalds....there are MANY other options....VERY disapponted.....I may never return. You lost several loyal customers today. We had dinner at a table by the bar and I'll spare the name or number of the server. We are nice people and do not deserve to be treated with this attitude and then "FAKE" niceness - so transparent! Our total tab was $311.90 PLUS TIP for 4 adults and one child and while the food was decent, the attitude, having to ask for place settings, the timing of the food was NOT worth it. There are MANY more and less expensive options one to two blocks away. Or better, go to McDonalds for a nicer dining experience. I regret recommending this place tonight for dinner!!!!
