I have been coming here with friends for several years and always enjoyed the staff and the service. The staff are very kind and attentive, and make sure that you were well tended to.The meals are always delicious and the tea is always served piping hot. I really love their Happy Hour roll selection that’s available for dine in only.I hope that this restaurant can continue to thrive and survive in the many years to come.?

I come here with a group as small as 3 guests and as many as 8 guests. A table is always available, l've never had to wait more than 10 minutes (give or take). There is a back room with tables and booths, better for large parties. The front of the restaurant is lined with booths and a bar. Restrooms are available for customers. There are no stairs so this place is handicap accessible. The staff always greets you as you walk in. Always very kind and on top of everything. Service is fast but never rushed. The noise level is pretty quiet with conversation going on between other diners. If you want some selection to your meal I would suggest the lunch/dinner special. It comes with miso soup, small salad, California roll pieces, fried cream cheese wanton, fried potsticker and two items off the specials menu. just the right amount of food.Ingredients are always fresh and cooked perfectly. If you have a hankering for some rolls the menu is extensive. They are great with customization if you need to remove or would like to add an ingredient.(21+) Try some sake. Always comes cool and is fun to share with some friends. My favorite item on the menu is the beef bulgogi and garlic edamame (it's packed with garlic).

My Two Cents

The mackerel covered California roll was very satisfying and I would recommend it as it was the most generous on mackerel I'veever had! The cheese covered mussels were very good, but we initially burned and on the second try were cooked to perfection. I would come back again, but recommend a little more attention to detail and perhaps an apology when service falls short. I wasn't given chopsticks, napkins or soy sauce for my sushi. I had to wait extra with no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. I was pleased in the end with the quality of the food.

I came here tonight and I've honestly come here since I was a child lol but honestly best priced fresh sushi in the bank. It's so chill great ambiance if you're not trying to go to a really poppin busy establishment. I'm not into that so this place is perfect for me. It feels more intimate and comfortable with the servers and chef.. ps special hand roll # 2 or is . Literally found my new fav. I usually got a spicy tuna hand roll on soy paper but this was unbelievable. Especially if u like spicy mayo... this will not disappoint I promise!!!!!

The food is very good here. They seem to be very busy which is a good sign. My only issue was that the second time we went, they just don't have enough staff and there are long waits for our plates, food, etc. They need to consider hiring more staff maybe or just checking in on the patrons more. But I definitely recommend this place. I just wouldn't come during their busy times.

Having passed by this place more times in the past decade plus that I can recall, finally decided to try this place for lunch on a weekend. There were a couple tables already seated and just one waitress who was hustling to ensure everyone was taken care of. They could probably use a bit more staff since was probably tough for her to handle both sides of the restaurant. They had lunch specials which were similar to combo bento boxes at other Japanese locales. Sadly, I would not recommend. The teriyaki chicken was over cooked and very tough, and maybe even freezer burned. The teriyaki sauce did not help as the chicken did not seem marinated before grilling it into rubber. The sesame chicken was pretty bland as well and lukewarm. The gyoza was probably the best part of the lunch special along with the salad. Even the rolls we got were pretty bland so I'm not sure if it was just an off day or if things had seriously gone downhill as always used to hear good things about this place from friends over the years. And the place has to be better than this to have survived in Burbank this long while many restaurants have had to close their doors.Maybe I'll give this another try in the future, though I will say this place is a pass for lunch definitely.

Great sushi and prices! The reason for 4 stars is cleanliness. During my last visit I was seated in the back room where a table was filled floor to ceiling with takeout supplies. Dust coated the walls and vents and spider webs were in all of the corners.
