Overpriced mediocre food. Decent classic diner quality if that's what you're into. Flavor free food. Some people are more into food texture. You could get the same food at 7-11. Ridiculously afraid of dogs. Sat outside with 6 month old puppy who is full of love and the staff was so terrified they couldn't even bring the food to the table. They were literally jumping up and down. For real. Additionally, in a question about cleanliness the head cook came outside and basically admitted they don't wash their plates thoroughly. Very unfortunate and unnecessary negative experience. Go somewhere else

an awesome neighborhood cafe with friendly staff and huge portions. our favorites are the homemade corn beef hash and chicken fried steak. My sister swears that they have the best tasting gravy and she eats alot of chicken fried steak entree when we travel. Burger are quite tasty too. Indoor dining and take our are available.

First I must say this review isn't about the food. The times I've been to Big Joe's Cafe, the food was good. This review is about the service. I ordered takeout and went to pick up my food. When I walked in, I greeted the older lady at the counter and told her I have a takeout order. She said "What Company?" I said "Grubhub and my last name." She rudely said "Yeah Yeah, right here." Then she motioned to shoo/dismiss me; as if I should take my order and go. I said "Thank You." I went to the car to check my food, since I was unable to make sure I had what I needed in the restaurant. I immediately went back to the restaurant to ask for syrup. I approached the same older lady with the shoulder length black hair, to ask for syrup. I asked her politely and she gave me one syrup. I said "Can I have another syrup, please?" She rudely said "I already put two in the bags!" I said, "Yes, but I have two orders of pancakes." She reluctantly gave me another syrup. I said "Thank you." I felt very disrespected in this establishment and I never want to go there again. I think I was treated this way due to racism. I've been to this restaurant before and usually the younger shorter hair lady is the waiter; she is nice. Unfortunately, from this bad experience I will not give them my business. I spent over $47 on food here and I can't get enough syrup? That's insane. The food here is good but it isn't worth being discriminated against.

Love this local diner. My Egg white veggie omelette west full of delicious veggies, fluffy, cooked perfect. I was passing though and would go again for sure. The team taking care of you are kind, friendly, and want to deliver great service. Visitors were friendly too.

Love this place! Though I initially discovered it as a breakfast spot, in Covid times it became my favorite sandwich place.I love the staples — Chicken Salad sandwich, Tuna Salad sandwich and Tuna Melt. Every once in a while they’d have specials, like Crab Sandwich.Regardless of what I order, food is fresh, portions are huge and service is friendly.

I've had many breakfast at Joes over the last 5 years. The staff is super courteous and attentive. They keep a very clean restaurant. I've tried their Omelettes, Scrambles, Blueberry Pancakes & Belgian Waffles and believe the fare is really quite good, although I can't speak to the rest of the menu. The team at Joe's consistently excels at breakfast, which is the only menu I order from. I can positively assure the breakfasts are very satisfying, The wait staff are open to requests for substitutions as well. Even during the shutdown the breakfasts seem even better, despite the difficulties presented by the mandates the folks here soldier on with the greatest of courtesy, and care.

We've been coming here for 13 years. They never disappoint. The food is perfect diner fare. ALWAYS generous on the blueberries in the pancakes. More importantly, the warm welcome. Cindy, Joe and the staff are very nice. Speedy to-go service since covid. Highly recommended.

I ordered 2 serving of Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Penne Bologese and Pancake sandwich. The portions were huge and so delicious. Total comfort food. My family and I had our first meal together since SIP. The social bubble extended. Amazing customer service they carried the food to my car. I was so impressed with service I received. They offer outside dining. Plenty of parking on Broadway.
