Said to have to go there but, I'm in Burlingame if your from the Bay Area no need to explain how I felt being a person of color walking into a establishment a hour before they close and staff says they're closed. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

I have been going to Bonne Sante on a weekly basis for several years. Karen, Dan, their kids and their awesome team knock it out of the park every time I am there with their welcoming environment and fantastic food. Nobody on the staff of Bonne Sante is throwing temper tantrums and their food is not oil drenched as others are suggesting (unless you request it). I highly recommend Bonne Sante with zero reservation. In fact, I am heading over to Bonne Sante today for a delicious sandwich and great company.

Asked for a box for my sandwich and literally got yelled at by the staff that I can only get my food paper-wrapped, because "Boxes are very very expensive! We don't give them out Willy nilly!!!" Mediocre oil-drenched food with a side of temper tantrums.

Quick take: ginormous flavorful sandwiches Very friendly service on an early Sunday morning. I can imagine this place getting crowded for the lunch rush. Ginormous yummy sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread. I went for the Chop Chop Sandwich. Just half a sandwich was super filling. Very yummy sun dried tomato spread, Ceasar dressing. Ordered with everything in it. Lots of flavor packed into each bite.

My friends I just had the most blasting experience here! The atmosphere is very cozy, sporty and friendly! The owner is extremely accommodating and welcoming. The sandwich was delicious, to the point that I will come back straight here next time. I also got a beer and they let me try it before ordering. A decent good shot and then the refill it.High quality for the price and most of all the experience.Highly Highly recommended. Go there have fun and enjoy the food!

Was craving a sandwich, so stopped by to try out Bonne Sante's Milano sandwich which includes salami, prosciutto, provolone cheese and all the toppings. The quality of the vegetables were very nice and I enjoyed the tartness from the combination of the olives, jalapenos, and vinegar. It seems that the sandwich is toasted with the meat so the salami and prosciutto were a bit crispy so that might not be everyone's cup of tea. I would recommend asking for the meat not to be toasted if that is an option. We dined in and there's plenty of seating and TV's. The restaurant gives a nice sports bar feel and is adorn with San Francisco sport team memorabilia. Food was prepared quickly and served to our seats. Besides their sandwich selection, they also serve burgers, salads, beer, and various sides like loaded fries, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Overall, this place makes a nice sandwich, albeit a messy one. I would recommend checking to see if you can just get the bread toasted so the meat stays consistent with deli quality.

I wonder if they have different cooks because my experience seemed to different from the other rave reviews. It's definitely an old local spot. They seemed to get a lot of regulars. I can't help but compare them with Little Lucca's. We ordered a burger and a sandwich, both were just ok. We took leftovers home and didn't want to finish the sandwich. The cooking and quality was below average. They have indoor seating which is a plus. The lady at the counter was super friendly and nice. Prices are fair considering the portion sizes. The ventilation isn't good and the cooking smoke and smell was very strong. I came for the food and it was disappointing.

I've went into this shop and ordered steak fries, which was next to a picture of fry's that had cheese, jalapenos and meat on there. Me assuming they were fries with a Philly cheesesteak on top I told the lady I'm sorry I thought I've ordered something else. She brought a whole big box out to prove to me. The fries are actually called steak fries. So I said. Sorry for the misunderstanding, she said. I think it's ridiculous that you want your money back. She made fun of me and the whole restaurant. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed. I walked out the restaurant without even ordering anything else.
