My experience at Broadway Prime Rib was disappointing. Despite the higher prices, the service was virtually nonexistent. My meal was missing items, and the taste was far inferior to House of Prime Rib. Additionally, I was seated at a table near the restroom and garbage disposal area, resulting in unpleasant odors throughout my meal. The staff seemed overworked and lacked hospitality, which I believe reflects management issues rather than individual employee shortcomings. I hope Broadway Prime Rib can improve its management and overall customer experience, perhaps by taking cues from establishments like House of Prime Rib

Food was delicious and super friendly staff. The place could really benefit from some light renovations for better ambiance and a more pleasant dining experience.

The prime rib is tender and the portions are large! I ordered the smallest size and was very full! If you order the largest size, you can share, easily. The creamed corn is also tasty, I like that it's not filled with heavy cream filler but it's mainly corn. I personally am not a fan of the creamed spinach and popovers but to each their own. I know people who love them, this is just my own personal preference. The mashed potatoes were decent but ours came out cold this time and they could use a little more seasoning. Overall, this place is a great alternative for (you know where). It's less crowded, easier to find parking, and a great way to support a small business! :)

Haven't been here in ages and I'll be the first to admit that I prefer my own prime rib versus other places as I've yet to find one that I prefer over my own! Came here on a Monday night and was surprised it filled up as the evening wore on. Ordered the select cut medium rare. It was a good piece of meat that was a nice color! Loved that they gave us horse radish! However for the price we paid, it was not the most tender piece of prime rib that I've had. They did fill our water glasses and checked in on us but for that price I was expecting better everything. I miss the way they used to make the salad at your table versus just bringing you one that may have been sitting in the fridge for a bit. The bread was also eh. A sourdough would have been classier. The place was a little brighter than I remembered and the noise level was too bad but most likely I'll stick to making my own prime rib!

Don't bother!!!! This place is a knock off from the house of prime rib in sf!! One of the waiters stole the Hopr's idea and messed it up it has a cafeteria feel to it and the food definitely is not as good! Nuff said!!!!

Was not as good as I remembered from when I was younger. Average spot at best. Went here on a Friday night with a couple of buddies. Felt like the AC was on inside. Serving size was huge, but tasted okay. Service was okay as well. The place wasn't packed, so we got the attention we needed.

I ordered The Peninsula with mashed potato, 1/2 corn, and 1/2 spinach. It may be pricey but soo damn delicious! Service was excellent!

I really wanted to like this place and after many visits to House of Prime Rib, Lawry's, Harris', Harris Ranch, and even a few old school places in New York, I tried to come in with an open mind. I initally liked the decor and the stainless steel carving cart, but unfortunately the cart was just for show as they delivered our meals straight from the kitchen. Our group of four placed nearly identical orders but our dinner plates trickled out over the course of 10-15 minutes which made it hard to the first recipient to politely wait for the last plate to arrive. Also there were only three popovers (yorkshire pudding) for the four of us which seemed ridiculous since it wasn't that late and I know for a fact it doesn't take that long to bake more. The meat was fair at best and I have a hard time believing that it was USDA Prime. While the medium rare looked pretty good, albeit closer to rare, the ones ordered medium were gray on the outside and red inside which makes me think they just put it in the microwave instead of cutting closer to the end of the roast. Our server however was very sweet and might be one reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I don't put any blame on her for how the meal and timing turned out. For a place that's really no cheaper than the excellent restaurants we've been to, our entire party was very disappointed. I don't expect to return which is a shame because we need more traditional neighborhood establishment.

Totally agreed with others 1-2 stars review. The food is not even near compared to other Prime Ribs places in the Bay Area. The services were not that great. Waiters did not feel the importance that the customers were in their restaurant. I did not feel they care to us. Parking is hard to find. We sat next to the windows face the street and homeless walked by and looking at us. This created the uncomfortable feeling while eating dinner.

Terrible food for moderate price… the only thing it has going on is that food portions are large. TBH I’ve never had a steak at a restaurant that tastes worse than steak I make at home, but this place changed that experience. The creamy corn and creamy spinach are so-so, felt like it came from cans at Grocery Outlet.

The prime rib was excellent, great flavor and very tender cut. The atmosphere takes you back to a different Era in dining out. I liked it a lot and would go back for sure.

Why go to House of Prime Ribs when Broadway Prime is right around the corner?! What I like most about this place is the warm reception by the staff besides the great tasting steaks that melts in your mouth. I highly recommend this place!

*UPDATE: Wendy with friends for a birthday dinner around 3 weeks ago, and the experience was much better! Sat on the first floor, table in the back, and server was attentive & warm. The food was better than the prior experience. The Broadway cut prime rib was large and flavorful. The sides of the baked potato ? and creamy corn ? were good compliments to the large prime rib.The cost was relatively expensive at $69, sut I guess it's the norm given the economy's current inflation.-END 2024 experience-PRIOR experience in 2023:I've been here before, and recalled it was good. This experience has me baffled, because the experience didn't meet the expectations. We chose this place as an alternative to H.O.P.R., and thought we'd get similar quality & experience, but I'm afraid it fell short. The select cut, $56.00, was thin and not a big portion at all. When placing my fork next to he meat, you can see that some part of the meat is about ½" thin! If I'm paying $56, it should feel like I'm getting a big slice. It's really unfortunate. They also didn't have a baked potato, which we wanted. The ambience is no where close to H.O.P.R. If you're spending this much money, you might as well go somewhere else.

Great food and great service! The location is on Broadway in downtown Burlingame so it's centrally located. The decor is old school classic.
