The food was terrible, too greasy, the potatoes were old and bathed in oil. The food is not worth it for the prices they have. Apart from that, it took more than 25 minutes to bring the pizza, which was cooked in 5 minutes. The entrees took 45 minutes to bring them.

I've been to other locations and had a great meal. I always order risotto, but tonight it was...off. I told our server it was too sweet and she took it back and brought me another without my asking, but it was just not right. I ended up finishing my partner's lasagna because I couldn't eat it. I would have preferred they remove it from our check, but it is what it is.

We've been dining at Il fornaio in Burlingame for some time. The pasta & seafoods are our favorites. The bar & wine selection is also excellent. The service is outstanding.

Food is decent and consistent. However, we ordered 2 beers salad and one of them came like a half portion. We asked them if they mistakenly splinted the salad for us they said no, that's a full salad. Here's a photo.

We're long-time patrons. We were unfortunately disappointed with our service for the first time. If we had been seated in another area perhaps, we would have had a better experience. Our waiter just wasn't interested in paying attention to us. Finally, when he came to our table, we gave him our entire order so we wouldn't need to wait between courses. Once we got our meal, we had to waive like we were parking a 747 to get his attention. We were going to order dessert and coffee, but we waited so long we just wanted to leave. It seemed like he went to every table except ours. He kept hanging out in the kitchen area. Finally, I had to ask the host to get our check. When our waiter, Richard, brought our check, he did not apologize for ignoring us. It was just not a good night.

Arrived 10 mins. early for our 6:00pm reservation and host asked where would we like to be seated. Selected near window booth and right away staff name Richard greeted us and ask if we have any questions. He came back and my wife requested hot water and i a glass of sprite for me. Service was outstanding and tasty food. I ordered Lasagna and finished it all?My compliments to the restaurant is “you're not RUSHED”??Great service.

Mostly a nice experience: negative was staff morale was very bad. Server was professional and nice but the bussing staff seemed angry and one used profanity at the floor manager in front of the diners.
