Great little neighborhood Italian restaurant with good food in generous portions and friendly service. On a Saturday night, you should make reservations because it's always packed and, since it's a bit noisy for conversation when full, not the weekend place for a romantic dinner.

the restaurant itself is outdated and need some TLC. The table settings is cheap (glasses and plates). We were party of 20 and had only 1 waitress. Had to wait for along time for drinks and starters to arrive.

I've been here once before and the food and drinks were delicious. I made a reservation for Valentine's Day, and they were completely swamped. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table. I think they overbooked, and everyone looked overwhelmed. I tried ordering a drink, but our waitress said it wasn't on the drink menu, which I was never given. The drink was, in fact, on the menu, but I had to wait 20 minutes. It was hard to get a hold of the waitress because she was waiting on a lot of people. The pasta was undercooked and didn't taste great. The calamari and meatballs were good, I will give them that. I think this was an off day and will come back again.

Have been coming here since 2003. Food is excellent. Service is unparalleled. Came here on 02/14/24 Valentine's Day dinner. Everyone had reservations and was packed. Menu is simple. So you shouldn't spend too much time making your decision. I recommend all dishes. Don't forget the Tiramisu!! It's authentic Italian food. Wide Wine selection Very romantic atmosphere You can relax and enjoy a meal and conversation. You get taken care of here. Really get taken care of. Johnny was attending to my table. Outstanding service It was busy that evening but he was able to manage everything well. Don't expect to be given the bill. Just sit back and relax. Order some more drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. I definitely recommend this restaurant!! Attire is Business casual.

Over cooked pasta, salad was not good, service was 50/50, (not great or worth the money). Even the bread was just ok, not worth the money. We will not be back.
We arrived early for dinner on a Saturday and the bar area was already full. Patrons were constantly moving in and out as there was a family birthday celebration on the upper level. Over the course of the evening, all the tables were occupied in spite of the heavy downpour outside. One could quickly tell that there were a lot of regulars that evening. Our bread and pasta dishes were good. A shared dessert was on the house because our table had to be moved a couple of times to accommodate other patrons’ table configurations. Looking forward to returning soon.

Cozy and welcoming! Definitely carries an authentic Italian vibe. Reminds me of a restaurant in Toscana. Great food options available. We usually order family style, so we can enjoy a variety of plates. Love it here!

We had to plan a last minute late luncheon for 20+ people and the team at Sapore was easy to work with, accommodating, and flexible.

Charming place, lovely waitress. We were seated immediately, drinks ordered and brought; 45 minute wait to take our order. Some mis-communications that we were waiting for others! Ceasar salad was great; soup was good, pasta with mussels was excellent, cappilini pomadoro was dry and mediocre. It was Christmas Eve...so much should be forgiven in such a busy might.
We were there on Christmas Eve. Surprisingly, the service was very good and the wait staff was quite cordial despite the place being very full. Good vibe here, and the customers were enjoying themselves. Portions are large. The avocado salad was good but overpriced. The Pasta alla Rustica was excellent. The Ravioli was just okay. Wine is overpriced at $14 a glass or $48 a bottle for Italian wine.

Overall I was disappointed. The first server we had was very nice and courteous. The second server who took our order didn't write anything down. There were 7 of us ordering. About 15-20 minutes later they came to tell us that they had run out of lasagna, which 3 people of our party had ordered. I feel we should have been made aware of this much sooner. Our food came out relatively quickly after that, however they forgot my husband's order completely and asked him if he had ordered anything. This was annoying and I feel had the server who took our order initially had written it down the meal wouldn't have been forgotten. This experience wasn't ideal, which was disappointing because our previous experiences have been really good.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Food was very good and the serving size was decent. There server was very nice but she was overwhelmed as she has to take care of the upstairs and downstair tables.

Food was fantastic. However they tried to squeeze our table for 14 on a table for 12. One of our guests got up and left to make more room. Service was slow, I am assuming they were under-staffed. My suggestion is only do a party of 2 or 4; they cannot cope with large groups
