Nice vibe, yummy food and drinks. We ordered the beef enchiladas and they were yummy - I would order again. Service was good but took a while to get the check.

It was our first time here tonight. The service was great. Friendly staff. Ordered the grilled chipotle salmon with vegetables and black beans. We ordered guacamole and they gave us more chips thereafter. We ordered chicken quesadillas with vegetables and refried beans. The food came right away and both of them tasted great! Sad news is that the business is closing and it's their last night.

Really disappointed with the host and the first impression. They had 4-5 tables available for dining outside but they didn't want to seat us with an excuse: ,, That are tables for 4 people and you are only 2, we get busy, sorry. " I was really sad to hear that since I work in a restaurant as a server and we never turn people down we always make it work, at least they could say give us a moment we will find something, but no.

Incredibly fresh and delicious with generous servings. I have ordered takeout from here twice in the last week--the Chile Relleno, Chicken Tacos and the Chicken Fajitas. Highly recommend all three. Also the wait staff at pick up were so very friendly and helpful. I am so happy to have found this place.

A relative told me to come and try this place. But, unfortunately, as much as the customer service was excellent, I couldn't say the same about the food.I loved the churro dessert and the corn side dish. Everything else was MEH. The chicken and beef tacos were presentable but not tasty. And so was the fajita. The whole meal was bland and I'm a little surprised at how others have rated this place highly but to each his/her own.

Really sweet decor and friendly management and staff. Unfortunately, I understand will be under new management in a week or so. Burlingame Avenue is really a fun place to be on a Saturday night as outdoor restaurants and retails stores are open and lit up. Nice places to eat and walk.

3 stars are solely for our server, Leo, who was an absolute gem of a human! The drinks were mediocre and the food was overpriced for how unremarkable it tasted.

Was debating between another close by Mexican taqueria to catch a playoff game, gets some nachos and margaritas but the wife wanted something different. First thing, the service was good. This is definitely not a taqueria. In terms of food, it was presented nice, and definitely more upscale then a Chevys but following down the same path. The food was decent but under seasoned. Braised ribs were bland, salt and spice was lacking. The food is definitely catering to a blander pallet as there was no heat. Even the jalapeños tasted like bell peppers. Food looked great, read well on the menu but was underwhelming.

Delicious food, friendly service. Me and my wife find ourselves frequenting this spot due to the awesome atmosphere of downtown Burlingame. We're big fans of Mexican cuisine, and this place never disappoints. Fajitas, enchiladas, or pretty much anything on the menu is some of the best I've had in quite some time. Give this place your business, it's well deserved.

I was impressed at the quality of the food here. Recently had brunch with friends here, and sat at outdoor seating. Friendly service, warm crisp chips, deliciously fresh salsa and guacamole. I had the chilaquiles for my entrée and it was superb. Textures and flavors were all right on. There was a small fruit cup as a garnish. This wasn't your cantaloupe and green tasteless melon. It was a colorful and flavorful fruit cup. A blueberry, a raspberry, melon, and mango. If you're looking for a cheap bite, this isn't the place. Loved this place and I look forward to trying more of their menu. Churro pancakes? Yes please!

The food was pretty good, but pricey! The service was mediocre. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, and it was my birthday.

I'd been wanting to go here forever, and finally got the chance to sit outside for lunch, a beautiful Burlingame Saturday afternoon. We got their guacamole and chips--didn't taste freshly made, a bit of a mush, not clean and vibrant tasting, as if they pounded some avocados, added some jalapeños, some slivers of red onion, and pretty much called it a day. The "tamale pie" was meh better: creamy and unctuous, never something I could make at home--a decadent and filling little appetizer. Their ahi tuna salad, which I asked they sub the roasted pineapple cilantro dressing, was just meh. The tuna itself tasted fresh with the peptic crusting, but the greens and dressing was way too cumin-ey ... it was a bit of a mess, and I couldn't choke down much. The service was excellent--they refilled the chips basket (without asking), and generally were on the ball with everything. It's very possible that their other brunch stuff is better, e.g. their hues rancheros I might go back to try. Prices on par with other places of this caliber in this area, and there's two parking lots near the library around the corner.
