Great little spot lunch. Order the Tonkotsu. Great texture on noddles with a little bite. Eggs cooked perfect. Broth is nice and creamy not over salted. Plenty of fresh ingredients.Order at the table IPad provided by restaurant. Limited wine and Sake available.Overall great spot! Not going to blow you away, but not going to disappoint.

Pretty excited when I saw this newish ramen restaurant on Broadway. I came with a group of friends & with an open mind. Service was adequate--our orders were taken quickly. At the end of our meal, it took a little while for our check to arrive and so we were sitting for an extended period of time. It was quite empty on our visit, but they were getting a lot of pick up/to go orders. My friend ordered the omakase ($49)--the fish selection was okay and for the price it was acceptable but nothing to be wowed about. My Shoyu ramen in a tonkotsu broth was nothing special and unremarkable. A hard boiled egg was included with the ramen at no extra charge. My overall experience was okay and it was worth a try. It's great if you live nearby and want Japanese food, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. I also noticed that the people making the sushi were Chinese and not Japanese.

Delicious food, fast service, friendly atmosphere. I loved the unagi fried rice; my husband (who is not necessarily a Japanese food lover) loved the spicy miso ramen; the teriyaki chicken and sushi were fresh and left your mouth watering. Highly recommended!

Had dinner there last night and it was the kind of meal you're still thinking about the next day. The chirashi, the truffle ramen, the BBQ beef, and the Romeo and Juliet roll were all fantastic: full of flavor and subtlety.

Value. Value. Value. Great place located in the old downtown Burlingame if you're trying to get some quality sashimi without breaking the wallet. I get the Omakase special everytime I come. We came on a Friday lunch and there was no wait. Chirashi 7/10 - This was a great value as it was part of the lunch special. It comes with a variety of sashimi all over a bed of rice. Highly recommend getting if you're looking to get your sushi fix for cheap! Omakase 9/10 - It's amazing what you get for $38 here. There aren't any other places in the bay area that offer this quality for the price. They give a generous cut of fish. My personal favorite was the fatty tuna. Although this isn't your traditional Omakase and they don't really tell you what fish you're eating, it's still delicious and I would recommend getting it!

Not quite sure that this place's specialty is their ramen, but if it was nothing special. My cousin and I were the only people in the store besides the two workers, there was just an awkward silence throughout. There was also a water ring inside my water glass (not pictured but I do have proof), which meant that it wasn't washed thoroughly. Was really trying to like this place in all honesty, maybe will take my chances again another day. My Order:Shoyu Ramen - Pretty mid, nothing really stood out to me. Kinda just tasted like slightly elevated instant ramen, the noodles weren't fresh either. Fried Oysters - Can't really go wrong here but somehow they kind of did? It tasted off and the sauce was not fitting to me.

Good food at decent prices. Same menu as their place in Daly City, which is a good thing. My go-to is spicy ramen with a fish salad, and my wife gets the charashi often

Came out with family for ramen and a small bite. It was a bit late so maybe the food wasn't as fresh in the latest hour but was average food. Maybe come back again early in the day for a retry.

I was craving sushi, and my friend had recommended we go here since their omakase was cheap and there were a lot of good reviews. We arrived on a weekday at night, and our party of 4 was quickly seated. We all ordered the omakase, 3 different rolls, and the truffle ramen. The truffle ramen lacked truffle flavor and was really subpar for the price. The rolls were also just pretty average.Usually, for omakase, they would describe each piece to you, but I was so surprised when the omakase was brought out and just placed on our table, and the staff walked away. One of our truffle ramen also came without an egg while the other did, and we had to flag a staff down to ask. Overall, food and service are just pretty average. I wouldn't come back.

Happened to stop by with the family since this is across the street, we sampled several items here is my take on how everything fairedModified miso soup just the soup not spicy per my daughter why is there mushrooms in this lol, standard piping hot it was goodShoyu ramen for my son - he stated good broth, decent toppingsTruffle ramen - not sure what all the hype was, super skinny noodles almost close to hair thin, broth was just ok, 4 super thin slices of pork, half cut boiled egg, again it was just okRollsDark dragon - I usually get dragon roll everywhere I get rolls but good to try new things, oddly for all the rolls we tried the rice was super wet, the added himachi to this roll was goodTiger roll - salmon and avocado good pairing with the shrimp tempura but again rice was super wetSun rising - spicy albacore with salmon and avocado also creamy wasabi, appearance wise this one is very well done but rice was too wet overall flavor was goodRainbow - standard rainbow roll again rice too wetWild boy - spicy tuna with creamy white wasabi, again the rice was to wet, flavor for this was also goodOn a whole the rolls were ok. The ramen for me also just ok, may have to come back and sample their donburi plates and sashimi plates so super wet rice won't be a factorFood ***Price $$Service ****Ambiance *** older looking, dinerish feel converted to ramen joint

My favorite place to eat out. Very fair price for the food. Never had bad service once, and the food comes out within 5 minutes. I’m surprised it isn’t packed every time.

Very small location and awkward setup for clientele. Has a fishy smell inside too. Bathroom was really dirty too. Which really put me off from the food.Food was okay, ramen was perfect for a rainy day. The roll we ordered was okay but the cut on the escolar was a hack job.

Most affordable omakase I've seen in the bay area! Our group ordered the:- Omakase (4.5/5)- Really affordable, fresh, and good portion (9 pcs). However, do not expect the intimate omakase experience at more elevated places. I just wish the server introduced the types of fish that were given to us. - Lion king roll (3.5/5)- I'm a fan of baked salmon rolls, so naturally I enjoyed the lion king roll. - Dark dragon roll (3/5)- This roll did not really stand out to me, but a good choice if you are a fan of eel. - Truffle ramen (3/5)- I enjoyed the broth and egg. The piece of meat tasted like ham to me. My friend's order was missing an egg. Once we brought it up to the server, they brought it to us. Overall, would come again for the sushi. The omakase is wonderful. But, there could be improvement in introducing which fish is which.
