The food here was such a pleasant surprise! Everything smelled and tasted so clean and fresh. We had the Falafel plate and the chicken shewarma plate and love it down to the lemon in the salad dressing! The hummus was tasty and the pitas were warm. Highly recommended.

My family and I stopped going to this chain after encountering an extremely rude associate at the Newbury Park location. We avoided eating here for 4 years simply choosing other restaurants or cooking these dishes at home.I took a chance by revisiting the chain at a different location. I debated ordering online or over the phone so I looked up the menu and pricing online. I was surprised to see that once I paid for our meal that the online pricing and the actual price I paid were different. Now it is not such a significant difference however for transparency you think these prices should always match.The atmosphere is neither good nor bad. The woman operating the cash register seemed very displeased by simply having to be there. My experience with the staff at mama hummus is always so disappointing. If they are not angry they are simply miserable. The food itself is typically good considering this is a chain restaurant. Unfortunately the poor attitudes of the employees always take away from the experience.

The spicy chicken shawarma has me feeling sad that I live in another state. The lady that was taking orders was wonderful and explained the menu for me kindly with any questions I had. The classic Baklava was the best I've ever had.

-Terrible food, we got sick and we were in bathroom all night.-Pastry, it was old and tasted horrible. And it was hard as a brick.-We had to keep repeating ourself by ordering. The guy what …what! Huh!!-Ac was off, they were saving on there bills i gauss.What a mistake to go there.-So regret paying tip, the guy didnt bother to bring the food to the table.Terrible terrible terrible.I want my money back.

Food tastes great, but every time I go there, I feel like they keep overcharging me. I probably shouldn't request changes in the menu or add extra skewers. They don't seem to have a good pricing setup for extras.I've been charged for 2 dinner plates when I ordered extra kabob. Next time, I've been charged over $10 for an extra kabob. It's just all over the place. But, food is great which is why I keep going back there and hoping that the price is right.

I ate here before the pandemic and it was really good. Today I was very regretful I spent the money. The garlic fries were tasteless and the Chicken kabob wrap, also, lacked flavor and didn’t have a lot of meat. I won’t be going here again.
