The tejate was a nice experience. I've never had the drink before so it was good just to try it out. He checked in regularly with the tables he had which was cool. I got the mole negro burrito and it was HUGE I don't think anyone can finish it in one sitting. Personally I'm more of a brown mole person instead bc I like the chocolate taste but I wanted to try the mole negro and it was good, had a spiciness to it.

Wonderful authentic Oaxacan cuisine! The tamales are the best. Their mole is the best I've had. The chili relleno is the best i've had too.Highly recommended!
The food is great! He can definitely use a waitress or two! so he doesn’t take so long serving the customers.

The food was flavorful and yummy. I ordered the quesillo (oxacan cheese) enchiladas with mole negro. It comes with rice that was pretty good. My bf ordered enchiladas Verdes with quesillo too. His plate came with black beans and rice. The chips and salsa were subpar though. The salsa was smoky but too spicy alone. Like, I'd rather use that salsa over food than with chips. The restaurant has a small eating area. Restrooms are shared with the restaurant next door. The server balanced his tables efficiently and chatted with his patrons.

This place is amazing. Our hostess was kind and informative, but you want to hear about the food. I ordered a mole burrito. I asked our server if she preferred the black or the red, and she recommended black. It was absolute heaven. Possibly the best burrito I've ever had. I'm dying to go back as soon as possible and plan to work my way through this entire magical menu.

I Wish I would have taken pics OF THE DELICIOUS FOOD but I didn't. I was starving because I didn't eat anything but a pretzel at Legoland ?♀️ I just can't with amusement park food ? My family and I tried this place and let me tell you that the food was delicious, authentic and the best corn tortillas I've ever had ♥️ Tomas, the owner was so nice he gave me a parting gift because I kept raving about the tortillas ?? thank you so much for having yummy food. Can't wait to eat here again ♥️

I think more people need to eat here. The owner is so kind and the food is delicious. Made fresh to order and the flavors are on point. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Happy whenever I'm in the area so I can stop by this hidden gem.

I love this place! I always get their chorizo con huevos Plate *chefs kiss*soooo good it's my favorite!!! Today my husband got the quesadilla botanas and man! Those were soo good too!! The cheese Their salsa, service and everything we've tried has been really good!It is on the pricier side and has gone up every time we visit but honestly, worth it

Food 5/5 chicken mole, mushroom quesadilla, "Mexican" pizzaService 3/5 very slow service be prepared to wait a while Overall solid 4 stars because food and delicious, prices are slightly higher then expected ($18+ plates) we just blame that on inflation. For 2 ppl bill was about $72! (x2 entrees, x1 app, and x2 horchatas)

Food was good. Service was horrible.Unfriendly arrogant waiter/manager/owner. Never asked us if we needed anything or checked on our table. The restaurant was not busy either. He semed irritated when we asked for extra chips, salsa or water.Chips & salsa were placed on our table when we arrived. We assumed they were complimentary and asked for a refill. Later we checked our bill and noticed we were charged $4 for the chips. We were never told that there was a charge for chips. He also told us that the tip was not included in the total charges on our bill. He said that the service charges listed are not considered his tip and that he has no control of service charges when printing out the bill. So we were charged 18% service charge and he still wanted us to leave a tip. I dont ever want to go there again!
