Amber Lee 10stars! Maggie minus 100 stars! Been coming here for years, & years. It's a hole in the wall. I get their afternoons during the week, Maggie is never ready, she is constantly playing with dogs, having her hands in their mouths, up their a*** & then pouring drinks! Omg. When she doesn't have her hands up dogs a*** she is banging everything possible on the bar, & making a racket!! Popcorn is never popped. I can continue, but, this is enough

I was here two nights ago.....Don't go here unless you like bartenders who are rude for no reason at all and don't wash their hands. Everything in this place is nasty and old. Usually places like this are fun with a chill vibe but the women bartender is a complete nut case for no reason...seriously she must have been drunk. She was just screaming at people who weren't doing anything.... and there beer is warm. TRY ANY PLACE ELSE.

Best beer drinking joint in Carlsbad. Went here for the first time in 1991 and it hasn't changed a bit.Long live the Train Beer!!!!
$8-9 pints. Had a few beers on draft and was surprised that my tab was $17. That's pretty high dollar for even a fancy place, let alone a dive-ish bar in Carlsbad. Bartender blamed inflation. Was at Keno's last night and $4.75. Sorry pal, not buying it.

Good tiny bar. Paul is a nice, if soft spoken, bartender. They have Guinness (but don't pour it correctly). Reason for -1 is no liquor.
