Happy Hour from 5 to 6 pm Monday thru Friday is a bargain, the sushi, appetizers, wine and saki are a hit. Most items on the menu are between $5 and $15 dollars for edamame, cucumber salad, gyoza, and sushi or hand rolls. Beautifully presented and excellent service, everything fresh and yummy, in a very expensive restaurant town, this family owned Japanese Restaurant is a local secret.

We have eaten here several times and have always found the food to be wonderful and the service excellent. It is small, but a nice place to chill out because the atmosphere is leisurely and comfortable. If you are in a rush, go elsewhere. However, if you seek good food and want to unwind, this is the place. They are dog and human friendly making it truly Sushi Heaven.

In town for a long weekend and this was by far our groups favorite food spot. The wait staff is super fun and gave amazing recommendations. Specifically the Baja California roll. We loved sitting in the heated patio to enjoy some great wine and amazing sushi.

I've been a long time customer of Sushi Heaven but no longer after my experience with four of my family members this past Saturday. Everyone's food was brought out in a timely manner except mine. I waited and waited and waited asking three times if it was coming out and they said the kitchen was backed up which was a joke since there was only one other table seated when we walked in. I ended up leaving without getting my meal and called the manager last night asking to speak to the owners and was hung up on. Now that is special customer service. I feel that they could have handled this much better than a "sorry" that night.

I went the other night for happy hour / place was packed. They had three servers in . I sat at table #1. I ended up getting my entree before my appetizers. I told them I would be ordering food to go. They got so busy: I was completely ignored for a half an hour! I literally was waving my arms trying to get someone's attention. All three servers walked by and SHOULD have made eye contact but; no one ever did. I was somewhat hidden behind all the people waiting to be seated. I finally ordered my food to go ; but when I got home the order was wrong and (the one roll that I didn't even touch was thrown into a to go box) the roll was perfectly fine ; the food was good. It was a perfect roll ; but it looked like it went through a war and I questioned if it was even MY left over roll. To top all this off; I was sick all night . Food poisoned. Not the greatest experience at Sushi Heaven. Very disappointing as I haven't been there in such a long while. I've never been that disappointed there. I did call to complain when I got home. The young man said he would call me back to see if he could reimburse me for the food I paid for and didn't get . Never heard from him !

Great sushi spot in Carmel. Small bar and some indoor seating as well as a small patio. This place checks all the boxes. Bento and then some. I lucked out with the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious, fresh and service was excellent. Prices were not bad especially for Carmel. Will return here for sure. Downtown Carmel is dark if you go at night. No streetlights so bring a flashlight if you go walking.
Great food, wonderful attentive service and a nice atmosphere; these guys try really hard to make your dining experience top notch.

Great little sushi shop tucked away in the streets of Carmel by the Sea. Only reason we went there was it was our nieces doctorate sushi place and it didn’t disappoint.
