Terry's Lounge

Sat in the outdoor patio. Food was delicious...better than expected even! Great ambience. Staff was friendly to our dogs. Will be back!

Great service, wonderful atmosphere. Tried shrimp scampi - nothing I usually order and yup, never a great memorable dish. Service was great food was ok.

We particularly love the live music for the Sunday morning brunch that starts at 11. The trio is quite delightful, especially in singing “catch a falling star”

Had a wonderful time dining at Terry's Lounge. Our table location wasn't great (despite having made a reservation a month prior). We went back again to enjoy a drink in the lounge and had a wonderful time and great service. We'll definitely return!

This lunch was our first meal at Terry's in a very long time. We had our two Airedales with us so requested the pet-friendly indoor seating which worked out great! My husband loved his fish tacos (which he requested as “no slaw”) and I loved my butternut squash ravioli with a field greens side salad. For dessert, we split their molten chocolate chip cookie which was also fabulous! It was so nice to be able to dine indoors out of the wind with our dogs. Afterward, I was annoyed with myself for not having tried Terry's for lunch in Carmel long before this!

We love Terry's Lounge! It is one of our favorite spots in Carmel. We love it and our dog loves it too. The food and cocktails are great and the people who work there wonderful!

Terrys is the wonderful place to dine on a lovely patio with your Dog. The Cypress Inn, Doris Day had the most wonderful dog friendly hotel and these owners continue with the tradition of excellent food, service and atmosphere. Their kindness and special meal for our golden retriever was special.

The atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable, the server was really nice, helped us enjoy our day out. The food was reallt food. Would come again.

One evening we had crab cakes which were served over a dreamy lemon cream sauce. Every morsel was delicious. We also shared a really good beet salad.
Another day, we had crab eggs Benedict which could have had more crab meat. My husband enjoyed his French toast for brunch.

Exceptional dinner at Terry's Lounge. Special compliments to staff member Evelyn who is a fantastic ambassador to the Cypress, Doris Day and her wonderful legacy. We had a delicious dinner.

Very good food in an elegant and storied setting. Beautiful ambiance. We had excellent cocktails and the Endive Salad was exceptional. The Beef Short rib was tender and flavorful. Servie very good from team standpoint. The Cypress in, within which sits The Lounge, is a landmark, and we loved the photos of Doris Day with many celebs.

What a great experience with my daughter-in-law and two teenage granddaughters. I didn't realize that this had been owned by Doris Day and the ambience , food and service were impeccable. We sat outside on a chilly summer night, but the heaters and the blankets provided for us by the staff made everything perfect. the dog friendly patio with the adorable dogs was an added bonus. We will definitely go back here when visiting Carmel.

Got there at 6:15, 15 minutes early got seated , no server or water for 15 mins. Finally got drinks 25 minutes after arriving. Waitress brought drinks and said “ do you know what you want to eat”. Never saw her again someone else brought the food. No one checked on us. We tipped $40 🤷🏼‍♂️

If you would like to take your dog to dinner with you, this is a good place to go. The food was amazing, and our server Omar and helper Lulu were so great!
