Zero Star. I came here about 1 hr and half before closing time. The second employee heard me talking to my son about him wanting a Chocolate Milk Shake so she turned off the milkshake machine right away and giggled. Told the person who was helping us that nope milkshake is close for the night. I had worked for Baskin Robbins for years and I was taught not to close down anything till all customers are gone out the door. My experience at Castro Valley, Ca Baskin Robbins is not great.

This location does not honor their agreement with AARP, which allows members to get a free cone with one paid cone. I called the location about this several weeks ago. They knew nothing about it. I then called AARP, and they verified that this specific location had the aforementioned agreement with AARP and that AARP would be looking into it. Today, several weeks later, I called this location back to see if anything had changed. The woman who answered the phone remembered me and said that their manager still had been given no information about the AARP promotion from the franchisee or the corporation. Well, all they had to do was to call AARP to find out what the problem was. They chose not to. Therefore, I chose to thank them with this review. I encourage all seniors to boycott this location and to boycott ALL Baskin-Robbins products. There are lots of other fantastic brands of ice cream to buy. I encourage you to do so.

Picked up a premade cake the label said one thing but upon cutting it, it was something completely different. Super disappointed especially paying almost $40 for a cake I thought I was picking out. Let's talk about how the cake tasted...not good! The cake tasted old. Like freezer burn old. Just incredibly gross. Super dry old cake. Baskin robbins has gone down hill. So unfortunate as it used to be one of my favorite places growing up. The one star is for the staff. Very friendly and nice.

I went to buy a ice cream in waffle bowl when I finished the ice cream start eating the waffle and it tasted of the stinky liquid with which they clean the place, it disgusted me so much if you go, don't give it to your children without first trying it, it's disgusting. I can’t eat it. my mouth was left with the taste of the chemical

Terrible service. The girl had an attitude and couldn't even get the order right. Completely mixed up the order. Put nuts on a single Sunday that should not have had nuts. Pay attention some of us have allergies! Left the nuts off the wrong Sunday. Ordered a single Sunday and the scoop was not even a full scoop.Needless to say when you are in customer service you need to smile and use manners and thank your customers. Someone needs to train their employees in this establishment. I definitely won't be returning here. I would have give zero stars if I could!

My family and I visit at least twice a week. My son has special needs and they're always so welcoming and kind to him. We also see the employees constantly cleaning during their slow times. Kudos to the manager or owner, you have some amazing people working there!

I ordered a customized cake 2 days in advance for my nieces birthday. And it came out great! Only thing is, the customize part bubbled up and showed in pictures. Overall, highly recommend. I got the vanilla cake with pralines and crème icecream, with a customize picture and it was a hit! I was able to walk in and pick up with no questions asked! Quick and easy.
DO NOT GO HERE every time I go something goes wrong whether it the careless staff dropping the oce cream or this time when I asked for a SEPERATE BOWL SPECIFICLY SEPERATE FROM THE ICE CREAM they get the bowl SHOVE THE ICE CREAM IN TO THE POINT WHERE IT FITS THE BOWL THAN GIVE IT TO ME something always goes wrong here dont go find a dif one

Came in here on Black Friday before clos. Two super nice girls were working and they had ALL of the bomb azz flavors. Naturally I got my usual mint chocolate chip with cookies n cream on top of a skinny sugar cone. Hubby got rocky road & I think Oreo Coffe. Sweet night treat & sweet customer service yay!
