Peet's has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. The chintziness of this place is just astounding. And they blame everything on "the pandemic!!" Come on, no health advisory has mandated that you cannot have paper plates or regular plates on which to serve food. When you buy a baked good and you want to eat in, be prepared to eat out of a paper bag like some uncivilized person. The Fort Knox has a run for its money the way Peets employees hoard the chocolate shaker! Should you dare to reach for the chocolate shaker at the counter, prepare to have your head bitten off for such a grave infraction. Again, they blame it on the pandemic. What a discriminating pandemic that it only affects the chocolate shakers and not the cinnamon shakers!! Still the coffee had been good, but alas that too has suffered. What used to be rich and robust coffee now tastes watered down and moldy tasting. I am sorry to say that the employees are dropping the ball and there is no responsible oversight of this facility. Stop gaslighting customers by blaming everything on the pandemic and clean up your act! That you hardly have food items is not the fault of the pandemic, nor is the lack of serve ware or the chocolate shakers. You are just being cheap, hiring inexperienced staff and not training them properly and it shows.

I've been here twice in the last couple of weeks and it's incredibly slow and not busy. Middle of the morning. Workers are more interested in talking to each other than doing their jobs. There's plenty other places in town to get coffee. Not again

I don't Like Bitter Coffee, i asked the Staff for a nice mellow coffee. Yuck , It's to Strong & Bitter. IF you are different Expect to have some Staff Laugh at you & make fun at your expense behind the counter top Machines. Very Annoying.

So far so good! Both dine in And take out are great the coffee is always hot. They always have lavender syrup even if it's not on the menu. I get it in a latte. I also like the Maple scone. They heated up just right. the free WIFi always works.

They can not follow instructions . I ordered large Caramel macchiato with more foam on top like 2 inch. I got with tiny foam on top. That drink is more than in Starbucks because 6.45. Then they reduce the drink and I got opposite , all cup of foam and tiny Coffe. Then when Again refused the drink they add a milk. I will not pay for that $3 . It is jock . Those people do not drink those drinks and have no idea what they are doing. The Coffe was so sweet was nearly drinkable. I did not taste much of the Coffe at all.

Another update: I obviously keep coming back here because I love the coffee Since the invention of their app and mobile ordering, I've become a die hard customer again! I have to go into the office twice a week now and those are my Peet's days. I can order before I leave my house and by the time I get there, my coffee is perfect and waiting for me. This has been a total game changer! This morning I got there and the line was to the door, but I was able to walk in, grab my coffee, and leave! I'm also not sure if there has been a change in management over the past few years, but the service is incredibly friendly and the place is always really clean!

Never been to a such a spacious Peet’s in East Bay, plenty of parking available in the lot, good ambiance. I order White Chocolate Mocha hot/cold depending upon the mood. A bit pricey than the regular coffee but worth the taste. I would recommend this location of business.Parking: Many
