Absolutely love this restaurant. Family owned, great service and great food. I had cheese enchiladas and loved them my kids had shredded beef tacos and shrimp platter. Both very good as well.

I didn’t even know this place existed until I was one day searching up Mexican food near me and happened to find this place. We tried the Asada fries and they were pretty good. My only issue is that they don’t serve authentic aguas frescas, but other than that it’s good.

I took my granddaughter there for her 21st birthday. We had the best time ever staff is very friendly and courteous. food &drinks were fantastic. They sang happy birthday to her and brought her pie for her birthday with a candle on it we had the best time ever. We will definitely be going back.!!!!

Great food and excellent service! Alfonso's is a staple of the Ceres community. If you're the type of person that gets get a burger at a Mexican restaurant, then try Al's Ultimate Burger-it's great.

This is one of our friend's favorite places, so I will try to be as kind as possible. Worst Mexican food I have ever had. Chili relleano...tasted burnt and bland. Not good. Chicken enchilada....left well done in the rear view mirror and was cooked to parade rest. Chicken taco...horrible. The chips and salsa are non descript and the rice and beans, well how can you mess up rice and beans. Service took forever (on a Wednesday night). I will say, the margarita was very good. There has to be better Mexican food in the Central Valley...I am used to Southern CA Mexican food, which can be fantastic depending on where your go.
