This place is only open during the summer months. The winter can be very harsh.
I hope this family can keep the next generation interested for years to come.
Parking: Gravel parking for cars, RVs, and trucks. Easy in and out.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can take a bite of food, then play, then come back and eat more.

Yesterday while i was driving through chilcoot to get to frenchmen’s , me and my family thought it was a good idea to stop here. we checked their hours, and they were supposed to be open. When we pulled into the parking lot, they were closed. we decided to brush it off, but when we were coming back the next day (today) we rechecked their hours (aswell as their website that said they’re open) but as we pulled in, closed once again. Chilcoot frosty has amazing food, but it aggravates me that they are never open when they are supposed to be. it’s not just this one time, but almost every time i drive through that they say they’re open when they’re really not.

Closed 40 minutes early. You could at least take down your sign by the highway saying you are open still so we don't pull in, but hey... not putting the sign away is consistent with your great work ethic, at least.

A small-town burger joint with fantastic food, excellent for a quick lunch stop. Everything was a sizeable portion and fairly priced, and took about 20 minutes to come out the kitchen when there were over a dozen other customers. The staff is very friendly. There are only a few picnic tables for seating, and next to no shade to wait in, and that is my only real complaint.

Closed in the winter, but open in the spring and summer. Good place to stop in and get a burger and fries and a frosty if that's what you like. Outdoor shaded dining area is provided, it can get crowded on summer weekends, but get here around 11am and it's all good.
