This location is a replica of the former restaurant Soup Plantation but with several new salad choices with a new tasty blend. This is their second location and I'm hoping they open more loations soon where I don't have to travel so far. The only bad part of the restaurant is the location of all their dishes. All at the front, so grab your bowls for your soup and small plates for the pizza- bread.

Food and set up is very similar to
Souplantation, my only problem is the selection for both the fruit section and the ice cream section. Both are lacking severely. For the fruit selection they had grapes, that is all. For the ice cream selection they had fudge, that is all. If I remember correctly, Souplantation had a more varied selection and more options for these sections. Still highly recommend and I would still make the 2 Hour drive to go again.

Love the place, but it is always crowded, even on weekdays. Wish they open another two or three in SoCal. It is nearly the same as old Souplantation.

Went on a Friday night and there was quite a line — it took about 30 minutes before it was our turn, with around six groups ahead of us. The parking lot gets really packed, especially since Frosty’s Pumpkin Patch is right across the street and many visitors park in the same lot , so definitely a heads up there!

The food was just okay, nothing particularly special. It really gave strong Souplantation vibes with nearly the same layout and similar food options. We did enjoy the baked potato bar as it has lots of fun toppings to choose from! The salad bar was also great, offering an impressive variety of toppings and fresh ingredients. The kids especially loved the self-serve ice cream station.

On the downside, the restaurant could use some extra attention when it comes to cleanliness. The food stations were messy, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in a while. The utensils were all mixed up and didn’t match the signage.

Overall, it’s a nostalgic, family-friendly place that brings back Souplantation memories, but it could really shine with better cleanliness and upkeep and more food options such as more pasta options.

Reminds us of souplantation we loved for so many years. Great menu items but price is a lot higher than souplantation.

The salad bar is good. I disappointed a chicken noodle soup a little bit, too salty actually all soups are salty.

The last time I visited, the chilli was cold and the corn bread was cold and stale. Very disappointing. Food temp is not only important for taste but also safety. Please be on top of it.

Soup 'n Fresh - Chino Hills - Not Child Stroller Friendly.

The aisles and seating are wide enough to fit a stroller, but the staff does not allow them in the dining area. Both my family and another party were asked to use a high chair instead. This policy made the experience inconvenient for parents with younger children who can’t yet sit safely in a high chair.

The layout itself could easily accommodate strollers, so the restriction feels unnecessary. While the staff remained polite, the lack of flexibility made it clear that families with infants are not the priority here.

If you’re dining with a baby or a small child, plan on leaving your stroller outside or in the lobby. This may not be the best option for parents looking for a more family-friendly environment.

The place is great I love the food! However, the waiting line is extremely long, and they don’t have any proper system for it. Everyone has to wait outside under a tent, standing in the heat and sun for hours. The line is based on the order of arrival, which means you can’t leave or you lose your spot. It would be ideal if they had a better waiting system maybe a pager or an online queue system so people wouldn’t need to stand outside in the heat for so long.
