Gursha is an absolute gem in Roseville, and has a great selection of entrees for the carnivore or vegan appetites. When you become tired of the mundane restaurants that taste the same, I'd recommend Gursha for a change.

Such a nice atmosphere with beautiful paintings!
The food was super delicious and good quality! You can actually taste the herbs and spices! The honey wine was very delicious and did taste like honey. It was such a refreshing break from the overrated roseville restaurants ?

I forgot to take a picture, but this food was not just beautiful but SO tasty! We had the Super Vegan Combo which came with plenty to feed the three of us. The flavors were delicious and clearly made with love. Our waitress was very patient as we chatted away for about 30 minutes before ordering. She provided great service. The actual restaurant is very clean and spacious. We highly recommend.

Dining here as I write this. Halfway through my devouring my food. I ordered the lamb and accompanied it with some Ethiopian coffee. My taste buds are in flavor heaven. The coffee started me off with its strong flavor and delicious after taste. Then the meal… Good grief. The food was brought out to me with a lovely presentation. Vibrant colors, and you can see the steam over the freshly made dish. As good as the food was, what made me happiest is the customer service. I was taken care of by Grace. Kindly checking up on how I was doing several times. I’m definitely coming back. Thank you Gursha, for the delicious food and awesome customer service ????

This place has the most amazing Ethiopian food I've found yet. We've tried a couple of other ones in our area and I tried another in the bay area - none of which come even close to the level of excellence in which the food is at this one. It is so good you feel better as you are eating it. Magical experience. You will have to try very hard to find a better ethiopian restaurant than this one.

My mother in law spent a lot of time in Africa as a child and loves Ethiopian food, so we took her here when she was in town for her birthday. She LOVED it! There were a LOT of great options for everyone there, including vegan/vegetarian options for the in-laws, "help I was raised in the Midwest and spices are scary but I'm learning" for me, and delicious gluten-free injera for my celiac husband. We had two platters, one with various foods with injera on the bottom and one without, some rice, and mango juice and tea for our drinks.
I've only had Ethiopian food a few times, but this was BY FAR the best I've had! The spices were just right, and even the mildest food was not bland. I had a taste of some of the more spicy foods, and they definitely had a good kick to them! We shared the meal together and it was a great experience.
The best part was the staff, specifically our waitress! She was very nice and not only made sure we were enjoying our meal, but also made time to chat with us and sing Happy Birthday for my Mother in law in Amharic! Needless to say, we ALL enjoyed our visit to Gursha Ethiopian Cuisine, and we will be back again! It's definitely worth the visit, so go out and support a great local restaurant and maybe try something new!
Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free options, including injera that is made in-house! No need to order ahead!
Parking: It is in a strip mall so there are a lot of places to park, even on a busy night!
