The first time here and the service was great, friendly, and accommodated a large group.I ordered the Lomo Saltado Beef, which is very tasty. The ceviche de pescado (picante) was delicious, I also ordered the Papa ala Huancaina. Everything was delicious. I recommend going to this small hidden gem.Vegetarian options: There are several options for vegetarians, I wouldn't really recommend it for vegans as several of the dishes will have some kind of cheese base in the sauce or dish.

Great food, it's a bit hidden but give it a chance. It's food you are eating not the location, location, location.El Gordo, the owner is a great chef. He is related to houdini. Will appear great dishes, to enjoy. If you have 20 or more, there a private dining on the second floor, for friends and bachelor parties. I was told.

Today was my first time having Peruvian food, and man it was delicious! I took a friend, and both of us enjoyed our meals, and had a nice conversation with the owner/chef! He recommended for starters the ceviche, and the main course the Lomo Saltado . I had the filet mignon. Both dishes were phenomenal! The restaurant is hidden in the industrial section of City of Industry, but well worth the find!

Food was delicious we had jalea as an appetizer which was so flavorful ,n then we went on to try the lomo saltado the flavor of the tender steak was so out of this world .,and the tallarine verde omg to die for . The herbs n spices he uses just really come out in the dishes . I shall be back soon !!!

We randomly stumbled on this gem courtesy of Yelp! We've had Peruvian food for years and this restaurant really knows authentic flavors. The service and atmosphere were perfect. The head chef was there today and was very hospitable.

Drove 30 minutes to meet with my family here this morning and arrived right at the stated opening time 11am. The door was locked and when we called the man who answered said they weren't going to open for 30 minutes due to him "having a rough night". Incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Maybe we'll try again another day but we'll be sure to call first and come later in the day.

I recently moved to this part of LA and still getting to know the neighborhood. I have had Peruvian food before and if you have never had Peruvian you need to try Lomo Salteado and chicha morada you will not go wrong with this dish. This spot might be a little hard to spot since it's not on a main street and their restaurant sign color matches their building color, I missed it and had to u-turn.No one at the front desk but we're waived down and by the waittress and asked us two choose between two tables where we would like to sit down. After we sat we were given the menu and given a few minutes to decide what we wanted. I ordered a chicha morada to drink and Tallarin salteado and my partner order Lomo Salteado. I am going to say that the beef in the Lomo Salteado was very tough to eat and chew, it lacked a bit of flavor maybe just a pinch of salt. The Tallarin Salteado (picture below) the past was a little undercooked somewhat chewy, a pinch of salt would have made a difference in my opinion. The Chicha morada drink 10/10 again in my opinion. It's a small restaurant owned by a very friendly Peruvian man whom we had the opportunity to have a nice conversation with. The Above review was based on my experience, personal opinion and does not reflect the experiences of past or future customers. I will definitely go back for the chicha.

The food here was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly! I've never had Peruvian food before and this was a great first experience. Also, portions were insane. I had to take food home. 10/10 would recommend!

Very casual ambiance. We had a hankering for Peruvian ceviche and this place delivered. We also enjoyed the Lomo Saltado and Tallarin Saltado, tasty but it seems like older dry meat was mixed in with fresh juicy just grilled meat so it was hit or miss with every bite. All in all nice lunch.

I love Peruvian food and for some reason this place never showed up on my radar until recently.Quick review, got a new waitress who didn't know much about the restaurants food, drinks or credit card machine and made it a pretty rough experience. She didn't even show us the receipt at the end... I had it emailed to myself and I found out I got charged for 2 drinks I never ordered and upcharged me on my Lomo Saltado(I ordered regular, but she put me down for a filet mignon version). So from a customer service e standpoint, started at a 3/5, ended the night at a 1/5.Food wise, the Lomo Saltado was fantantastic, fish ceviche was fantastic and mixed seafood soup was a 4/5(loaded with seafood and goodies, but few too many fish bones and hard things for me to eat around).
