Majority of pastry shops iv been is that as soon as you walk you in you can smell that buttery vanilla scent. Will here i didn't. Majority of the pastries are made else where god knows how long ago than gets put in a freezer .I purchased one of the puff pastries and it had a freon smell.I orderd the rose latte OMG I thought I was at a rose botanical garden it had so much of rose water and was so sweet I think I may have gotten a sore throat.Always ask what is freshly made.I must say they have a very clean atmosphere great workers 50/50 ill go back if I have to.

Really like this bakery, all of the ladies working there are so nice every time I come here I notice such positive good demeanor they hold and I really feel this is a safe space to have a vanilla latte and chill.from coming to this location for over 3 years I think this establishment operates really well and is a treasure for Green River’s little community.I’ll keep it real the sweets are really good and big portions are nothing to complain about, the cannoli, cakes , tiramisu, macaroons, tarts, and lemon bars and crème brûlée are my go to (lol) and I really l would like to put emphasis on the exquisite taste of the cakes because you will have a great conversation started at the table at how you managed to find such a scrumptious delight. I will begin by reviewing the first cake I bought from here, a chocolate cake; it’s just not often you eat a cake that’s not too sweet but the sweetness is classy and succulent, it’s tender so it’s not overbearing. The cake itself is not too heavy and not hard, its fluffy layers bond with the chocolatey gooey crème it’s like the crème in between has such well versed relation to the cake and its result doesn't form a gluttonous concentrated taste. And it’s not too much. My family is middle eastern and this is their favorite place to buy cakes for events and parties.I saw some reviews stating the opposite and I think there are sometimes customers that have a acquired taste but speaking as a customer and local I think it’s too much when the opportunity In writing a review is abused to bring down a family business..Choco bakery is pretty popular within the community and I’ll support this wonderful spot and check out the Anahiem hills location some other time too! Love Choco bakery !

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I placed an order for a custom cake and paid in advance to pick up later in the week at 11:30 am. I arrived at 12:40 pm on the day to pick up. My cake wasn’t ready, they wanted me to wait over an hour. I couldn’t wait that time, I had an appointment in San Diego I to be at. The only thing they offered was a refund. No effort to make up for what they.You’re right, you did offer me a refund and gave me a random cake. Your employee also got my entire custom order wrong. You clearly don’t understand the VALUE of a custom cake. I did not have 30 minutes to wait as I already mentioned above. Instead of taking full accountability, you come up with excuses. How you have 4.8 stars blows my mind. Your employee also called you to come with a compromise and you could not come up with one. Shame on you and Claudia. Take accountability for actions and lack of organization.
We stopped by Choco bakery after a couple of hours at Romp-O-Rama, because after looking on the website at all the baked goods, it looked so delicious. I bought a variety of different treats, spending about $50 for everything. First off, the girl that was helping us was pretty rude. Like I was bothering her by ordering. One of my kids asked for an additional cupcake, and the girl turned around and rudely said, "You want something else?" Very off putting. I am a customer, spending money at your bakery. Anywho, while these treats LOOK amazing, the taste leaves much to be desired. The Napoleon dessert's puff pastry was so tough we couldn't even cut through it. The filled cookies, that I expected to have some snap to the cookie part were crumbly and flavorless. The pistachio baklava had so much rose flavoring, it was uneatable. I could go on, but I won't. Everything honestly tasted like it was refrigerated and defrosted to put in the case as needed. We won't be back.

Today we stopped by and picked up a chocolate cake and it was one of the best, if not the best, one's we have ever had. Every bite was nothing short of perfection!!!!The price was very reasonable, the place was very clean and the staff was very professional.Great experience overall. We will definitely be returning customers of Choco Bakery & Café.
