4300 Green River Rd Suite 101, Corona
Tasty food. Great service!
Slow service. Little space. On the expensive side. Our wait or, thou very nice, was very slow.
Good service. Nice waitress. I thought the food was average compared to other restaurants in Corona. Chips and salsa (not spicy enough) chips were good. The carne asada was tasteless and did nothing for the torta I ordered. I ate half and was disappointed. It did come with nice wedge fries. Rice seemed like boxed rice. My wife said the shrimp cocktail was spicy and good. It was $90 w/ 20% tip for 2 adults and 2 kids and no drinks. We also had the asada on a plate. Again tasteless. Oh well I can say I tried it.
Food tastes great. Atmosphere was welcoming, staff was friendly. Happened by on accident. Will make sure to return next time I'm in the area.
GREAT service, Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Environment and style of the restaurant is super cute, casual, COMFIEST bar stools and benchs I've ever sat on in a restuarant. Everything is in clean and new condition. Romantic with dimmed lights and dark seats. Amazing art work all over the place. We got a scramble, complimentary AMAZING chips and salsa, and a Cadillac Margarita all for $20! They all were fresh and taste great!
The food was okay and took about 25 minutes to get our food. Also our meals didn't come as what was listed on the menu. When a menu says "accompanied with" you would think it comes with the order right??? But when we asked the server she said, "oh do you want that too?" It took us so long to get our food to begin with that we just said, "no that's okay". We will most likely will not go back.
I have been eating from this place for quite some time. My past two experiences have been disappointing. My to go meals missing items. Luckily DoorDash has covered the cost. Today I ordered pozole. I get lettuce instead of cabbage not a good substitute. Who does that. Plus my wife's entire dish was missing until she caught it. Super disappointed a salad in my pozole. Must be a new recipe. Strike two.
I am only giving this place 2 stars because our waiter was very nice and helpful. The food was awful. The salsa was lacking. The food was mediocre. How is this place still in business?! Extremely expensive for food that is a sad excuse for Mexican food. The salsa they serve was mild which for some people may be nice. But, the salsa lacked in flavor. Imagine tomatoes, a hint of salt, some oregano, and there you have it. They had a verde sauce which was served warm. Essentially, it was an enchilada sauce. We ordered the sampler plate to try out a few things. I didn't know it was possible to make such a plain quesadilla... How can someone even mess up a quesadilla?!?!? They managed to figure out a way... We ordered chicken fajitas as our main entree. Wow. So plain. Have you ever heard of seasoning before?!? Some salt, maybe some pepper, maybe some seasoning that other Mexican places utilize ?! We ordered 2 margaritas to enjoy with our dinner. AWFUL. Imagine taking a drink of straight up sugar water.... sure... for 6.50 i expected some low quality tequila and some lime juice. Didn't even get that. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Edit: Anyone who reads this should take a moment to read the response to my review. SO FUNNY. Authentic ?!? hahaha different seasons ?!? "Comming" bahhhahh Read no further Clearly they pay people to make reviews....
We love this place and come here often! Nice to have great Mexican food nearby. The quality of the food is exceptional!
The place is really nice inside, service was fantastic. Now 3 stars for the food we had, the Carnitas had very little flavor, maybe pork is not their specialty, Chile Verde was bland also. Expected better for the price.
Thank goodness for the power of YELP! I needed an "in between" meeting spot and Corona was the town. I had absolutely no knowledge of the area and my friend wanted Mexican food. Good ol YELP to the rescue. Reviewers did a fantastic job of describing their cuisine and I was even happier with my visit than I expected. It's a small space but they make the best of it. It's like walking into a very chic art gallery. The owner Luis supports local artists by displaying their works on his walls. Ok so now onto the food review. Their guacamole is excellent! Freshly mashed, nice and chunky with the perfect little kick from the finely diced Serrano's. Garlic bread with Cojica cheese..who knew?! Green posole was delicious, chili relleno was tasty, flautas were damn good and their chili colorado was tender and flavorful. We will most definitely be back to once again have great n friendly service of Jessica and the warm embrace from Luis!
Went to brunch there today. They are still in their soft opening! Food was fantastic! I will definitely be going back.
I have tried both breakfast and dinner. The carne asada breakfast is fantastic. Enchiladas and fish tacos are great as well. I have only ordered to go so I can't comment on service but food is solid and worth the price. Nice to have a decent Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood.
Place is good if you want to spend your money on somewhat decent Mexican food. If the price was allot lower than what they are, the food would Tatar's great but its a mere average food taste. I think a little more effort needs to be placed on the dish rather than the decor of the restaurant and the high price for bottom shelf margaritas. This place is a try it once and never come back or try once give it a second chance and see if it changes your mind on the second try. I personally would not return, Miguel's Mexican restaurant has better tastes good food than this place. Sorry, but it's the truth.
Had to ask for everything and then there was a long wait in between. Food was good.
This was my first visit and I will definitely be going back. The food was really good, large portions, and presentation was great!
The atmosphere is really nice but that's about it, everything we Order was super bland. No depth of flavor what's so ever. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is not the place! I will not be returning.
We just moved here (Inland Empire) and was in the area of El Encanto Modern Mexican restaurant. Based on The reviews I seemed like a good stop, so I did. I entered (lunch time) and was hoping they were a fast food type restaurant, they're a sit down with take out option. I'm glad I sat down. Nice ambiance and cool modern art on the walls, not your standard fare Mexican restaurant. They have lunch portions. I ordered the tacos. They were more than "street" tacos. I enjoyed them. I told my wife about my experience and now we'll be going there on a date night to enjoy their food. Btw the waitress was very nice and helpful
Best Cadillac Margaritas ever along with best tasting chips and salsa. There isn't a lot to choose from in the menu, but everything tastes pretty great.
Loved it ??! Great food and margaritas. The Green Chile Pozole was awesome! Carnitas prepared to perfection! Great little patio area also with beautiful view.
Nice cozy place that takes pride in everything they do! To start chips and salsa was was excellent! I had a steak torta that was very nice! My wife had shrimp crevice cocktail and the shrimp were large tender and plentiful! Our friendly waitress offer me sample of the three auga fresca's all were excellent! Me Encanto el El encanto.
Adorable Mexican restaurant with great service. My friends and I came here last week, and accidentally closed the place out. We stayed an hour past closing time and never did the workers rush us or hint as to their being closed. I ordered the chili relleno and shared it with my baby son who also had a kids meal burrito y fries. I love spicy but this place was able to completely omit spicy without compromising the Mexican authenticness. My 1 yearold had everything including the salsa and didn't cry. Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Beautiful art lots of maña playing tastefully in the background. It's a cute place to bring a date. Also family friendly, did I mention my 1 yearold was dancing around trying to run from us? Not once did I get any weird looks from the management. Not overly crowded, good food, family/date friendly.
Friendly staff, delicious food, clean place, good music, well decorated establishment. The food was fresh and fast service.
Great food, great service! We have been to El Encanto twice and both times the food has been great! Flautas are delicious as well as the chicken avacado torta! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food! Yum!
Absolutely phenomenal food! Creative and tasteful. The libations are ridiculously delicious, be sure and get the Cadillac Margarita with the "secret shot" I'm the floral/citrus ice ball. Food presentation is nothing but sheer elegance and the wait staff is friendly and courtsOu
This is one of my favorite local spots, the food is always getting better if that's possible, its always hot cooked just right and good. The only thing better than the food is the service. If you drop in and I suggest you do ask for Suzzy, she is always attentive, smiling she's really great you can tell she cares about her customers. Suzzy will make you feel as if you're her only customer. Okay, so if you enjoy fries you must try the Carne Asada Fries, Chips and Salsa anyone- YES!!! Try the Chicken Faitas but be careful the portions can be deceiving in other words you get your money's worth and then some. How about shrimp enchiladas oh my so delicious, if you're reading this and enjoy good food what are you waiting for head on over you won't be disappointed.
The food is really good and the presentation is even better. I had the chicken mole enchiladas and my date had the Chile renolles and we both enjoyed. They only had one person working and she was busy but still very friendly service.
This place is the perfect get away. The Food is very authentic and delicious. They have such a great set up and top it off with great service. Had there baby backnadobo ribs.....very tender and yummy. I recommend it and will be comming back more often.
What a wonderful discovery while visiting Corona today. Fantastic service and food. I had the Mexican Chicken Cobb salad. Fresh and well prepared. I'll definitely go back when in that area again!
We stopped in on our way home and we were not disappointed! I ordered the combination plate of salsa verde cheese enchilada and an asada taco and my boyfriend got the the battered fish tacos. The salsa verde was to die for and the fish tasted very fresh. We loved the atmosphere and decor. This is such a local hidden gem
Omg this place is so good I can't even describe how authentic fun warm place the eat. The food was beyond our expectation. The art on the walls are for sale so it's like eating in a art gallery. I had my son 2 years old he LOVED the fideo. My mother in law got the mole enchiladas, she is supper picky about mole and she was so impressed she can't wait to go again. My father in law had the chicharrones with nopales and absolutely loved them. My husband and I both got the two tacos and two enchiladas they were amazing the enchiladas sauce was freshly homemade ( trust you can tell the difference! ) we ended our meal with a delicious flan that was to die for! we can not wait to go back because EVERYONE from the owner who came to the table to the server was super kind and sweet. You can tell they are confident about there food because the server even offered to bring out the mole to try ( that something Iv never seed or had done before ) quality family establishment with amazing atmosphere and food! This will not disappoint try it! Trust me when I say the pictures don't do this awesome place justice you have to see it for yourself
One of my new favorite Mexican joints in Corona and definitely giving Miguel's Sr. A run for their money. It's crazy to have food at a restaurant that actually tastes like home cooked food but El Encanto pulls it off. Amazing food, good beer selection and a great staff.
Had the Chicken Fajitas w/ a Uno Mas beer this visit and they were AMAZING!!! The beer on tap was deliciously cold and tasty. The live music added great energy and flavor to my visit. And the staff at El Encanto was very attentive and extremely helpful A+++ I could ask for a better dining experience
Had the taquitos and enchilada combo and everything was delicious. I love the artistic flare of the place. Service was good and chips and salsa were kept flowing. Highly recommend.
Small restaurant but clean and friendly service. Food was good.
Complete failure on two occasions! I ordered a taco bar for a lunch meeting of 30 people ($300 order) in Corona one week in advance. One hour before delivery, I was informed they could not complete the order. Thanks for the advance notice! Kudos to Miguel's, who not only delivered everything within one hour, received many compliments on their terrific food! Two days later, we decided to give it a second chance based on their good reviews. Don't believe them.....Saturday afternoon at lunch we were seated in their very cramped restaurant and delivered chips and salsa while waiting for our order. Chips were tasteless and salsa looked and tasted like tomato soup. Still hung in there curious about the reviews - 45 minutes later with no food, although given apologies for the delay, we finally paid for our beverages and said no thanks! You are clearly understaffed and unwilling to pay for additional staff and will not be receiving any further business from me!!
Food was pretty bland and overpriced. Chile Colorado was dry beef pieces with sauce thrown on top. Beans, Rice, and Salsa were nothing special Blacked Seabass Salad was overdressed (drenched) and missing some of the ingredients listed on the menu. The seabass was hardly seasoned and not even seared nicely.
I saw this place while grabbing a cup of coffee the previous day. Read the yelp reviews and decided I needed to check it out for myself. The restaurant has a nice setup, nice decor, plenty of room to sit. The place was kind of empty when we hit it, so maybe a lot of people don't know about it. I ordered the chile relleno plate for $11 bucks plus $4 for a second chile relleno. They do hit you with a credit card fee of $.50 to run your card.. which I thought was weird.... The plate was tasty and Im glad I added the 2nd one, portion was just right. Overall a good chile relleno, but nothing that makes it stand out for me. Maybe next time Ill order something different. Great service and staff, I recommend, and will be back.
Really nice place. Modern decor with beautiful art work throughout the entire restaurant. The menu offered a large selection of traditional Mexican dishes. I ordered the Chuletas (pork chops) with green sauce on a bed of white rice and a small bowl of black beans. The pork chops were thick and cooked perfectly. Nice and tender. The black beans would've tasted better had they been seasoned like the Cuban style black beans are prepared. Overall it was a good dish. Great service with an attentive server who was easy on the eyes.
