Visit the Hungry Taco for five stars under five dollars. This discreet Mexican fast-food restaurant is located in the back of a convenience store, but don't let that deter you. This taco joint is a staple in my family. Whenever I go home to visit my parents my mom stops by the Hungry Taco to grab dinner on her way home from work. They offer all your 'traditional' Mexican dishes, including burritos, quesadilla, sopas, tortas, enchiladas, tacos, and loaded fries. My personal favorite is their hard tacos which are crispy fried tortillas, stuffed with meat, and topped with lettuce, tomato, and onion. They also offer $1 street tacos on taco Tuesday!

My favorite taco joint is closed...Or at least it is under new ownership/management. The new place is called Taco Nación. I created a Yelp page for it (including their menu board) and notified Yelp THT is no more. They're menu looks similar. I hope the food is still good. I spoke to the staff a couple weeks ago when they started taking down their signs. She said it should be the same...time will tell.

We moved to corona over a year ago and have basically gone to THE HUNGRY TACO at minimum once a week, and sometimes TWICE. Two weeks ago we went and it is no longer THE HUNGRY TACO. The tortillas are different. The food is different. The cheese is different. And the name has changed. -not sure what it's called because we were too shocked by everything else Whatever this new place is - they remodeled and changed their prices as well as cancelled Taco Sunday. We won't be back.

My son wanted some carne asada fries after his games and We pulled up to try them. They were delicious! Their house fries are SO good and they do not skimp with the toppings. I've been here before for the torta and it was oversized and just as good. I love that this place had a drive-thru so you don't have to get out of the car like most Mexican spots. When I'm back in the area this will be my go to spot every time. Ohh and prices are great!

First time trying this spot, found it through yelp and I am NOT disappointed! Even though it's at a gas station it has a drive thru which is very convenient. I got tacos (2 asada 2 lengua) and they were delicious! I'm picky with lengua tacos so it's been a while since I had them, but I saw them on the menu and craved them. They were so good and the line moved pretty quick! Definitely going back soon

Never knew this place was here! Decided to look for a Sunday dinner. The food and price were on point. I got the California burrito and it weighed about 3 pounds . Definitely will try a taco Tuesday next.

I was trying to find a place that would serve authentic Mexican food near my moms new house in Corona for her housewarming party. This place had amazing reviews and the photos of the food looked amazing. I called and they told me at first that someone would call me back with prices, sure enough someone did. Cathy, she was very helpful and even drove back to the store to place my order and make sure the staff got it right. She explained everything and answered all my questions. She even offered a 10% discount which was very kind of her to do. So order is placed. Then the next day, Saturday, I went to pickup my food and to be honest, when I showed up to the location to pick up my order, I was very skeptical because it looked like a gas station/store/drivethru. I decided to park and go check if there was a store front inside. Sure enough there was, with a menu and all, separate from the gas station/store of course. When I placed my order, I said I needed it between 2pm and 2:30pm, but I arrived around 2pm and they had it ready. That was nice. No waiting required. We took the food home and not only did we love the food, but also did our guests. It was delicious. Every thing tasted fresh. I do recommend this place for orders for about 10 or more guests. I placed an order for the Street Tacos with two kinds of meats (carnitas and alpastor) for 10 guests. They gave us tortillas that are street taco size, so they were small. We also got rice and beans that were also very good. They also provided all the fixings, like lime, radishes, onions, cilantro). We added guacamole and chips. Please see photos.

At first glance, you'd assume their quality of food is low since it is in a gas station, but boy was I wrong. Amazing food, great portions, and even better prices! The pastor meat is awesome and everything is fresh!
Awesome place! The food is just great! The asada burrito is just amazing! The place is inside a gas station so there is not much seating but great authentic Mexican food.

Probably the best tacos I've ever had. Chicken, shredded beef, carnitas & carne asada were my favorite.

For a hole in the wall this is my favorite place to get affordable and delicious street tacos in Corona. I like spice and the red sauce is definitely hotter than most but for me I love it. I always recommend this place for anyone looking for good street tacos. It seems a little sketchy but it's definitely worth the try.
