This is one of the fav restaurants that I usually went whenever I come near costa mesa area. I tried to go but the restaurant disappeared. Idk why they closed but I hope they reopen :(

06.23.2021 Little O and I stopped by here after doing a return and some shopping at South Coast Plaza. Both pasta order sizes were definitely shareable or good for two meals. Unless you were starving like both of us and we each inhaled our food in one sitting. LOL! Little O got the Spaghetti al Pomodoro. Which she inhaled and I never had a chance to try. I tried the Spaghetti allá Carbonara. I would love if I had more carbonara sauce, as other Yelpers also stated. The sauce to pasta ratio was not even. My carbonara was definitely on the drier side but the spaghetti noodles were cooked perfectly. Maybe we will come back again with the rest of the family to try more pasta dishes.

This was one of my favorite go to Italian spots when I wanted something quick but delicious. Their food was always cooked to perfection! Sadly I went to Casa Barilla this evening for dinner and saw the windows covered and no trace of the restaurant I loved so much. I hope they pop up a location nearby again soon.

Food may be great but staff is not. They close at 7pm yet doors were closed when we arrived at at 6:30pm. Staff looked over but ignored us so we would leave which we did. I think they could have at least offered to go orders. Staff does not care.

Still the best pasta I have in Los Angeles... 6/8: Lobster Scampi special. The source is great- lemon, wine, and butter. Prefect combination. The Lobster is amazing and fresh. I think change to spaghetti is better. Also, Spaghetti Vesuvio has came back. I have been waiting for it to come back. ?

I just recently started working nearby so I’ve been coming here quite a bit lately and I have to say that I’ve had a positive experience each visit! Staff is super friendly and attentive, portions are good, and taste is excellent! Definitely would recommend giving this place a try!

This place has delicious made to order pasta and pizza dishes. Amazing service, and super hip music that made for a very fun and cheerful vibe. Will be coming here on future visits to Southcoast Plaza!
Always wanna try this place, and we finally came today, but the food is not that good. We order the lasagna and red lentil penne. Service is cool. The food was ready less than two minutes. However both noodles are cold on the bottom. And the red lentil are way too hard. Even red lentil are more al dente, this one right here are like chewing cardboard. Pretty disappointed.

Service was terrible. The girl taking the order was super rude. Didn't give water because their water filter wasn't working. Ok i get that but that girl got super annoyed when I asked if there is any other water I can drink here. She literally said "sorry no water. If you want I can give you that unfiltered water but get this right, its not our fault that machine is not working. Either you buy a drink or if you really want free water go get it yourself. Free water upstairs at Starbucks" Just complete nonsense. Irresponsible.

I ordered this through Door Dash. Great quality food for the price. Good size portions and pasta taste. Only thing I'd recommend is more sauce on the pasta.

Love the place, pasta is perfectly cooked and tasty. Very surprised that there is not a lot of people there considering the price, how clean it is there, and how amazing the food is

Decent and quick to serve. Casa Barilla I would say is an easy pasta fix restaurant if you like the brand name pasta. Small menu and cooked al dente when bitten. If Marugame Udon next door is too crowded, I would come here for a quick bite mid-shopping. I ordered the Penne all'Amatriciana but if the dish had a bit more meat to the sauce, it would've been tastier. The dish I would describe as sausage sprinkled over a spicy tomato sauce.
