Whenever we are in the neighborhood, we always make a stop at Golden Dragon! We absolutely love this restaurant! Family-owned, and food is made with so much love! We always double-order their honey walnut shrimp because it's simply irresistible!

Horrible food. Ordered orange peel chicken, couldn't even cut the chicken. Have never had bones in my orange chicken. Sweet and Sour chicken was tasteless. Felt like what I ordered was leftover food from a previous day. I don't recommend this place.

This restaurant WAS our go to for Chinese food, but after tonight they lost as our business (we eat out approximately 4 nights a week). To be exact our waiter soured our experience. No hello, no can I get you anything to drink…just “Are you ready to eat?” We were not. Later came back to take our food order only and immediately left. Husband had to go to the bar area TWICE to get a beverage (owner/manager? did not even question why a customer had to get their own beverage at the bar rather then get it from the server). Food runners delivered our dishes. We saw the busboy(man) more than the server. Server finally came to our table only to leave the bill. Mind you there were only 5 tables occupied including us in the whole restaurant. Would have liked to leave zero star for the service, but I didn’t have that option. We will not be returning to this establishment. Back to Fortune Cookies we go!! FYI: I don’t usually like to do reviews, but was an exception.

This place is unreal! This is the best Chinese in the area! It's pricey but the quality is unmatched! The eggroll which is massive and cooked to order is one of the best things on the menu! I know that sounds basic but trust me it is amazing. Super yummy slippery shrimp and amazing hot and sour soup!

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Everything was over salted and tasted awful. Spare yourself from going to this restaurant. Sickening food!

Last time I ate here was at least 30 years ago. Food is still.good and comes out from the kitchen with lightning alacrity. Makes you wonder how they can do that and how fresh can it be. Portions are maybe a tiny bit less than 30 years ago, but still more than American restaurants. Tasted great. Updated interior now more like assembly line chines restaurants decor one sees in LA Chinatown. Less intimate than before. Its now lighter and brighter and more room to walk around. Now expanded with private party room the large Chinese fans love so much. Typical Asian indifferent attitudes still operative. Reassuring that the more things change, the more they remain the same. Still family owned with quality in mind. Still like Fu Wing Lo in Fountain Valley better. KENNY SU, owner passed a way last year. RIP. Nephew Dave and mom Dinah doing great job of keeping Uncle Kenny's high standards alive and well.

Small hole in the wall place. Owner is such a sweet older lady who made my day by mistaking my mom for someone else and grabbing her face to tell her how lovely it was to see her again. Made my night. Food was very good. Worth going for sure.

Golden Dragon is a long time established favorite for Chinese cuisine in the South Orange County area. Our family has been eating in & ordering out from here for over 40 years. Key & her son John have always been excellent hosts & are so welcoming whenever we dine with them, & I have so many memories of enjoying their great food for everything from birthdays to graduations, anniversary parties & more. Their Kung Pao fish is always a favorite for me. Thank you for the great combination of food & service. We will look forward to seeing you again soon!

Been dining here since 1980. Same family, same authentic yummy food. Fresh & not greasy. Family run restaurants are a rare commodity these days. I'm so glad golden dragon is still around. Had a wonderful dinner with my family tonight.

This is a wonderful family owned business where grandma gives you a hug right when you walk in the door. The whole family provided great customer service. Came here for the first time on NYE and was blown away by the regulars who came with party hats for a really fun.time. This place is extra. Delicious Chinese food with authentic flavors and generous portions!! What's not to like?

Avoid this place. They can’t follow simple instructions. Asked for no egg on vegetable fried rice and it’s like they did the opposite and put extra egg. My vegetarian tofu dish had tons of beef in it. Couldn’t eat either dish. Disappointed to say the least
