Absolutely ? delicious!!
Service has gone down the drain. I called to place an order and we’re told I would be on hold for 5 mins and I wait for 17 mins before I hung up and called back and not their phone is off off and the mailbox hasn’t been setup. There online order is offline cause they cut their staffs and are shorthanded.
the crab tastes very dry and looks very dry aswell. wont be coming here again
The Bestest Sushi I had in Cali!! "Omakase" (chefs special) everything was fresh and so so good! I mean EVERYTHING!!! They have variety of fish for sushi. You can't even find a place who has all of this in Japan Its real Japanese sushi If you want to have authentic Japanese real sushi you should go there. They have "Omakase" promo this month. It's only $35 I'm going back there this week
Best sushi in town. Get there early evening or there might be a wait. Yes, it's that popular. The service is great and the food is excellent. They will honor requests that are not on the menu if they can. The fish is very, very fresh. Highly recommend.
This place and experience was WOW. We saw the reviews and the place was pretty tiny so we weren't entirely ready for the experience we were about to have. Our waitress was so nice and friendly and explained everything soooo well. The food was amazing, from the Katsu to the salmon and especially the omakase!!!!! If you can, you NEED to try the omakase with the sweet shrimp. The experience was like none other. We will definitely be excited to come back.
Such great rolls and nigiri! We had a wonderful group dinner here.
Ate here Friday night with a friend and was wowed by the sushi! We had the premium Nigiri omokase which was 10 pieces of premium fish with soup and salad for $35 and the salmon special for $18. The omokase was easily worth more and tasted out of this world great as was the salmon special. The service was top notch and Tomami our waitress was so nice and attentive. I was a little caught off guard because the location is in a strip mall literally right off the freeway, but I love that it's a smaller place with a great staff (we met EVERYONE and each person was so nice and welcoming) and delicious sushi. I love small places because they're more intimate, but this place wasn't packed at all (it was busy and everyone was wearing masks) which made for a more relaxed yet high end experience. I'd recommend coming here if you want a chill, fun sushi experience without the crowds or expensive prices.
Try the specials..you won't be dissapointed
If I could put no stars I would. I ordered a few pieces of yellow tail and tuna and they were not worth the price as the quality was horrible. Even the soy sauce sucked. Good for those with no pallet.
Decided to try Sushi Wave after a friend suggested it to me and while food was decent, service was just not up to par. I called to place my order at 615PM and was told that it would be ready for pickup by 720PM. I showed up right on time, but ended up having to wait an additional 30-35 minutes before my order was ready. While waiting, I noticed that there were several dine-in parties experiencing a much longer wait time than they were told -- not to mention the hostess kept putting new phone orders "on hold" without ever actually getting back to them to take their order. The saving grace about the service is that they're friendly, but really, they should be honest with their customers if they're understaffed/unable to fulfill orders or seat tables. The food was decent (though the portions are on the smaller side) and I would've enjoyed it much more if I didn't have to wait an additional 30-35 minutes longer for it.
We came here after getting our nails done next door because we wanted something easy and somewhat quick. We walked in and got sat almost immediately but that's when the problems started. We sat, the waitress (who unfortunately i did not get her name) took our drink order and came off very aggravated just by us ordering drinks. The drinks came back and she didn't bring out lemons and only served hot water, when we asked for lemons. Then we got actively ignored for about 25 minutes, finally got our order taken and didn't say two words to us. We then sat for about an hour and a half with radio silence from our waitress. She didn't make eye contact, didn't check on our table, not once. Finally one order of ramen came out, my SIL ate it and we still didn't get the rest of the food. We decided to leave and pay for the ramen. It was ridiculous, after almost 2 hours sitting with no word from our server. The restaurant was not busy and other people who sat down after us got their food first. I honestly think our table specifically was ignored on purpose. Never coming back here again. If i could give this place 0 stars i would.
Best Sushi in town. I come everytime I visit CA!
I have been going to this place for years. Great sushi at a great price. I have gone other places but I always come back to here, or am sad I even went somewhere else.
This was my favorite find during covid. Live supporting small business, and came across this hidden gem! Sushi is great, fresh, and the staff is amazing! So happy to have found this place
