We went to Crescent city during Thanksgiving weekend. This was the place we wanted to go first based on all the good reviews. I ordered double chicken breast that comes with steamed vegetables. They brought me 2 small pieces of chicken and my steamed vegetables was warmed up corn from a can. Same for my husband. We couldn't believe it.I thought that the economic situation in the city wasn't great and they have to do that. But no! We went to other restaurants and there were generous portions and great food. The owners of this place should not be so cheap. Avoid this place by any means. Two stars for nice and helpful servers

Came here for dinner, we ordered fish and chips and the salmon dinner. The fish and chips was nice and crispy and the salmon was mediocre. Came with clam chowder and it was ok. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes and chicken nuggets w/ French fries for the kids and they loved it. Also kids portions are huge for the price. Our waitress recommended the blackberry cobbler for dessert and it was amazing. We had quite a large party and the waitress seemed a bit frazzled when we showed up as it looked like she was the only one working. She sat us brought us waters and took our orders very quickly. When the food came out it was hot and fresh. Good price for everything and she even added a discount for staying at the Bay View hotel which was a plus. Our waitress was very attentive and calm considering she had the whole restaurant full by herself during dinner time!! Didn’t get her name but she wore a mask and was very polite under pressure of other customers. Great service!! Definitely earned the tip. Will be stopping by again next time we come around.Kid-friendliness: Brought coloring pages to each kid.Parking: Easy parking

Was really impressed with this place. You could tell they were understaffed but only woman working the floor was literally running from booth to booth and handling it like a boss. There was a good amount of people there and she made sure that not a single table had an empty cup and took care of everything. What we selected from the menu was pretty simple but it was all cooked perfectly and tasted great.

Hi! I visited the Apple Peddler Restaurant this past summer and had such a welcoming and enjoyable experience! To start off, as soon as I walked in I felt like I was in a small pop up restaurant from the 80s, the vibe of this place was so fun. My family and I were seated and our waitress was this sweet and charming southern woman. She helped us pick some good stuff from the menu! I got the fish and chips with potato salad and it hit the spot. The fish was flaky and fresh, and tasted just right with lemon, vinegar, and tarter sauce. I also got to try some of their steak, pancakes, and salad. Everything tasted just right and made you feel nice and cozy inside the restaurant. Definitely give this place a try and I would recommend heading over to the Smith River afterwards! My favorite part about this place is the location and proximity to so many naturally beautiful scenic areas. Their napkins are also really cute ;)Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.Parking: Lots of available parking in front.

If you're a person who normally eats late... DON'T! They will be scrambling to get everyone in the door, but not enough menu items.I'm sure you're thinking ?, "why a 5-star review?" Even though they may not have everything on the menu, they will do everything in their power to make you happy. The Parmesan Battered Fish was outstanding. The menu item that is worth just going for dessert alone... Blackberry cobbler! This is my 2nd night in a row and it's still delightful, delicious and just grubbin!

I ordered the sliders on a review on Google. Bad idea, the BBQ pork tasted like Loyds BBQ like you buy at Walmart ,now let's move on to the roast beef slider was dry and lacked flavor and now cheese burger slider seemed like it had been cooked some time early morning and set in warmer. Very few French fries and they were about the best thing on the plate ! My wife had the west coast cobb salad. Now she did like her salad.

Would've given a 4 or 5 as I got a tuna melt which was good but my daughter got a Caesars salad which was cheese, ham, lettuce only. 4 people working so short staffed. Waitress did take off salad, excellent, but we're in a hurry so the it was a Dr Jekyll/Hyde sort of thing. Ambiance okay though suspect thus may be a 5 stars under better conditions. Apologize for novel.

We were on a vacation and had eaten at the same chain in White City, OR. Glad we stopped here also. Great food, great service. I would recommend eating here.

From the smile on entering and the prompt service by Kelli our server, this eatery was top notch for cleanliness and eye pleasing decor. In today's world, a pleasant experience, oh and the food was delicous

We stayed the night at the local Crescent City/Redwood KOA in a Cabin amd the Apple Peddler is conveniently locate nearby on Highway 101 south from the campground. We got there just before 9:00am. Yo can't miss it if you keep an open for the giant Seal statuesthat are at the entrance to the parking lot. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken by our friendly waitress. We enjoyed decaf coffee while we waited for our breakfasts. Jan ordered a Veggie Omelette which was a mixture of eggs broccoli, onions, peppers and mushrooms. and included a hashbrown. All cooked in canola oil. I ordered the Daily Special which consisted of scrambled eggs with ham bits and cheese. It came with potatoe cubes. We had ample food and left there on full tummies ready to face the day of sightseeing for photos and information for our future travel guid of PCH.

Nothing but terrible service

Terrible service. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated the rude hostess said I could write my name on paper list which was full! They didn’t seem to care about their awful service either.

Set your food expectations to Denney's. Food was hot, quick and service was very friendly. They kept the drinks filled (coffee and sodas). Even sent me on my way with a soda for the road. I gave 3 stars as it could be a little cleaner. Didn't appear the table was cleaned under/around the salt & pepper/sugar packets/creamer) at the end of the table. Also saw a tiny sugar ant on the table, maybe munching on the crumbs around the salt & pepper? Otherwise it was decently clean.

Stopped by for a quick bite as it was right next to the Ocean World (aquarium) and my kids had gone to the aquarium and I was waiting outside for them to finish the tour. Has lots of parking and it is right on the 101 freeway. Has loads of seating. The waiters are really sweet and very attentive. They greeted me and was immediately seated. I ordered the Chicken Soup & Side of fries. The soup tasted really well and had a nice flavor to it, the chicken in the soup though was shredded, I am not a big fan of shredded chicken. The chicken by itself was not having any flavor in it, mostly it was bland. But overall the soup was good. The fries were fresh and crispy, little bit on the saltier side, I would rather expect it to be less salty and I can add salt as required. The interiors looked ok and not bad and not great at the same time. Seemed like a very laid back restaurant and lots of people were having a nice time in the restaurant.

Friendly and excellent service. Breakfast has lots of choices. We each had something a little different. And it was all delicious
